Hello My Friends!
Today I've created a fun card using the Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch for their current challenge and an image (freebie) from Sparkle and Sprinkle which I plan on entering into their March FB Challenge.  Isn't this little guy adorable?  A few years ago hubby & I made and hung several bird houses in our wooded area.  I love seeing them being occupied each spring with new families of birds.
Here's the sketch I followed ...

After printing out this adorable digi image, I colored him with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers then did a bit of fussy cutting with my Fiskars swivel craft knife.  I try to fussy cut with scissors but seem to do better with the swivel knife.  Different strokes for different folks I guess ... lol.
I have once again jumped into my new Doodlebug 'Dragon Tails' designer paper which was purchased from the Dies R Us Store.   So Cute!   Have you noticed that they aren't JUST dies anymore?  They now offer paper packs (6x6 & 12x12), inks, Stickles, Nuvo, Tim Holtz etc. etc.  Check 'em out!!

I have used card stock scraps for my ovals and rectangle panels and popped my image up using Scotch Dimensional Tape.  A scrap of Really Reasonable Ribbon (actually holiday - snowflakes on the other side) and my card is ready to go!
I am having such a great time joining in some of the fun challenges offered out there in blogland the past few days.  I enjoy a sketch and have come to enjoy the tic tac toe options also.  When my mojo is lacking, I typically turn to the challenges to get it going again!

TIME OUT Challenge #104 - Bold
Just a quick share ...
We actually saw an Eastern Blue Bird (like the one in the photo) on our deck railing last week. That's not a bird we see often here in the suburbs ... so it was exciting to see him up close and personal right outside my kitchen window. He didn't stay long and I hope he comes back ... time will tell.
