Peace on Earth Challenge #84

Hello Friends and welcome back to my blog!
SO happy you stopped by!

Today I have a card to share for the new challenge over on the PEACE ON EARTH CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE BLOG.  Of course the theme is Anything Christmas and we hope you'll come join in the fun!

Here's a fun inspiration board we've created to help get you started ...

For today's card I started out with a commercial card I received from one of the organizations my husband contributes to and cut it down to fit my A6 card base ... using it as the background.  (Hence having the coordinating envelope available).

I felt I needed a holiday background for these cute little guys that I had put together to use.  They are 1 of 10 in a pack of Easy 3D Toppers from Hearty Crafts called 'Winter Gnomes'.

My corner snowflakes from a Sue Wilson die set called 'Festive Collection - Snowflake Corner, Border & Tag' (#CED3019).

PLEASE be sure to pop over to THE BLOG and check out the amazing designs our design team has created for your inspiration.  What a group of talented ladies!!  Then come join in the fun!!

As always ... thanks again for stopping by!

SHADES of GREEN at the Sisterhood

 Hello my friends!

Today I have a card for the new challenge over on The Sisterhood of Crafters!

Our theme today is:

Shades of GREEN

Playing with PAPER ...

An old designer paper panel was used for the 'wallpaper' background.  A strip cut from that same paper was inked on the edges with TH green distress ink for dimension (table) and the flower pot, books & old telephone are paper cut outs from Stamperia.com (purchased through scrapbook.com).

I've used old Memory Box upper case small alphabet letters to create my sentiment.

I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun at The Sisterhood of Crafters!

My 'sistahs' have created some fabulous creations to help inspire you ...
be sure to pop over and check them out!

As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!

Can You Handle the Pressure - Twist - Lucky / St. Patrick's Day

Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!

We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog and the TWIST theme is ...

Lucky / St. Patrick's Day

Remember, the twist is optional but you MUST use an embossing folder on our projects to qualify for the prize.  Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with an embossing folder.

Here's what I've created to inspire you today.

Wow ... had to do some thinking and searching on this one lol.
I don't seem to have much in my stash for St. Patty's but I had recently purchase some 12x12 papers for a tissue box cover order so I did have those to play with.  This card was actually made up completely from those papers.

One sheet was all St. Patty's gnomes so I picked the ones I liked and did a little fussy cutting for my focus image and the shamrock between them.

As you can see, I've embossed both the green plaid background panel and the white panel my gnomes are housed on.

I've used one of my all time favorite folder and actually the very first embossing folder I ever purchased (I think EVERYONE bought this folder).  The Cuttlebug Provo Craft 'Swiss Dot' embossing folder.

Challenges to share in:

Color Dare #642 - Shades of Green

Festive Friday Challenge #FF0179 - St. Patrick's Day (green, gold, cloverleaf)

I do hope you'll come check out our challenge blog and play along.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Word Power (3/25) Challenge

  Hello Friends . . .

It's time for a new challenge over on our WORD POWER challenge blog!
Have you check it out yet?  If not, please come join us ... inspiration is welcomed!!

When going through some of the stamps left to me by my friend Doni's family after her passing, I spotted this awesome encouragement sentiment stamp set and was anxious to share it with you all.   The packaging shows it came from Simon Says Stamps but I don't see a number or set name.

The flower stamp I used is also from Simon Says Stamps called Wild & Free Flowers (2026ssc).  I've used Tombow markers for the simple coloring.

Here's a peek at the inside sentiment . . .

You have until the LAST Thursday of the month to enter.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day ahead!
