Have a Good Day!

Hello Friends ... Happy Monday!

Today I'm sharing a card that was easy to create.  I'm thinking we should all have a stack of these cards in our stash for when you want to send a notecard to a friend or family member just to say Hello!!

The dies I've used today are:

TUTTI-524 Have A Good Day

To give you a little perspective on the banner size,
I've used the largest die in the set and my card is A6 (4.625 x 6.25 inches) in size.

After die cutting my teacup, I outlined the frame
of the cup onto a piece of brown card stock
and fussy cut it then adhered to the back of my die.

On the 'saucer' portion of the die, I have colored the piece that
popped out and glued it back in once I had my teacup adhered to the banner.

The papers I've chosen today are VERY OLD but were from the same pack so they did coordinate with each other.

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store
and check out all of the fabulous dies available.

Artsystamper Time . . .

Hello dear friends!

Today I'm sharing another creation using beautiful digital images from the Artsystamper Etsy Shop.  Bev has created some gorgeous designs that I'm having so much fun playing with.  In fact, I actually have TWO cards to share with you today!

Both of my cards started out with one of the backgrounds offered in Bev's Marble Magic Paper Pack.

For my first card I have used images from the Aster Garden set.
The flower was printed twice so I could fussy cut the main flower from one print and pop it up on top of the other for added dimension.   My card is A6 in size.  Simple design yet gorgeous!!   AND, I love this sentiment!

For my second card, as I mentioned above, I've used the exact same panel piece from the Marble Magic Paper Pack for my background.  And, I've also used  the same sentiment.  But, the florals I've chosen for this card are from the Sketched Spring Blossoms set.

After designing my panel I decided to 'cut it down a bit (originally 4x6) so I could fussy cut & extend the apple blossom over the edge.  It's 'slight' but like the outcome.  I've also used glitter pens to add a touch of sparkle to some of the berries on the branch as well as the gold  petals & stamens.

I've mounted my panel onto a black backing and added a few Nuvo White Gloss Crytals drop accent.  VIOLA!

You'll certainly want to check out the Artsystamper Etsy Shop and for inspiration, be sure to check out the Artsystamper FB page.  The design team ladies are amazing and are showcasing some amazing works of art ... be sure to pop over and see for yourself.

Wishing you all an AMAZING day ahead!

Dies R Us Inspiration - Get Well Wishes

Hello dear friends!
Today I'm sharing a card created for the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog.

Have you been over to the Dies R Us Store lately?  OMG there are so many
wonderful companies represented in one location that you
will certainly find a few things you can't live without!  I know I do every time I visit!  LOL

I've created a card for an Amish girl who LOVES horses.

The DRU product I've used are:

Impression Obsession - Country Fences
Impression Obsession - Dies - Country Fences

Frantic Stamper - Large Unicorn
(I cut off the horn to create my 'horse')

Frantic Stamper - Dies - Large Unicorn

Also from one of the DRU International 'Special Order' Sales

Joy! Craft 'Grass' #6002/0137
See the source image

Uni-Ball Pen Signo Gel White
Uni-Ball Pen Signo Gel - White UM-153

To create my scene, I first die cut the two panels I would need for the background ... once in light blue and again in green.  Next I cut out my country fence and laid it across my green 'grassy' panel and marked a pencil line 'under' the railing and fussy cut to create my grassy paddock area for the horse.

Next I laid these pieces together and began gluing my background.

My horse (unicorn) was die cut three times and glued together for dimension.
I've used my white Signo pen to create the accents on the hooves, tail & mane.

A grassy panel was die cut from the Joy! Craft grass die and added to the front ... again this added extra dimension.
I've used various stamps in my stash to create the birds and sentiment.

Inside View
The birds & inside fencing are stamps by Stampscapes.
The words sentiments are from Honey Bee Stamps  and is called 'Sending You Sentiments.

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store

Sisterhood of Crafters - Play Ball

Hello dear friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over

Our hostess today is Vickie and the theme she has chosen is:
PLAY BALL
(any sport that uses a ball)

Here's what I have to share ...

Being of the 'older generation' ... I have more friends that
play golf than any other 'ball' affiliated sport so
that's what I went with today.

Plus you can't have enough GUY birthday cards in your stash!!

I've used a die from the Paper Rose company called 'Golfing Set' and
purchased at the Dies R Us Store.

Paper Rose - Dies - Golfing Set

I've used light blue card stock for my background and 'torn' lime
green card stock for my grassy area.  The trees were created
by stamping with Stampscapes stamps.

It appears this guys ball is in the 'ruff' and  I don't know much
about the game but I think using a 'tee' when your
ball is stuck in the 'ruff' is considered cheating!  LOL
Maybe this is just a practice swing!  LOL

Anyways . . .
I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun at The Sisterhood of Crafters!

Fun with Bookmarks

Happy Tuesday friends!
I'll be away 'pampering' myself today but wanted
to share with you one of the projects I was working on
during our excessively HOT weekend.

I've been trying to come up with some NEW ideas
for upcoming Fall Craft Shows and thought maybe ... just maybe
a selection of bookmarks would be fun.
Your thoughts???

At the moment I have six of each design.
I have used the following products to create these particular bookmarks.

Impression Obsession - Dies - Bookmark

Bookmark Buddies
This next group of bookmarks are easy and adorable for kids.
I've created them in a variety of colors but will just share a few here.

BEARS

CATS

DOGS

 Aren't they adorable?

Here are links to the dies ...

Impression Obsession - Dies - Dog Bookmark

Impression Obsession - Dies - Cat Bookmark

Impression Obsession - Dies - Bear Bookmark

Since I didn't feel my colored card stock was heavy enough
for a single panel 'animal' bookmark, I have die cut them twice and
glued them together.   I know I have some heavier weight 12x12 paper,
maybe I'll see how that works.

Challenges to share in:
Simon Says Monday Challenge - Not a Card
2 Crafty Critter Crazies July Challenge - ATG must have critter (bear)

That's it for today!  Have a fabulous Tuesday everyone!

As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!

 TUTTI-534 Swinging Fairy

TUTTI-545 Small Mushrooms

Believe (smaller of the two)

I've used Glitter paper as an accent to my entire
oval panel as well as on her wings and inside the lids
of the mushrooms.

An embossed background gives my card additional 'whimsy'.

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store

Pet Sympathy

Hello Friends & Happy Weekend!

Recently my friend from Illinois Bette shared a blog post with me that I thought would work well for a  Pet Sympathy project I've been looking to do for an upcoming Fall show along with cards.  I have had requests in the past for Pet Sympathy cards and I keep forgetting to make some for my sale boxes ... now's a good time to get that started.

The blog I'm referring to is called Chic'n Scratch and you can see her project by clicking the link.  I have followed her template which she so generously offers but switched it up a bit to fit my needs.

These fabulous little boxes house a purse size pack of Kleenex tissues.

I have made about a dozen or so and we will see if they are a hit at the fall high school show.

As you can see, I've done cats & dogs primarily but was told I should do horses too ... we will see!

In my location, I think dogs & cats will be the primary but will make a few horse themed cards which I will share further down in this post.

I sure hope this paw print is for cats ... I always get confused which is cat and which is dog.  I DID google 'cat paw prints' and the image looked like this so, fingers crossed I don't get called out on it if it's wrong!  LOL

I have used a variety of stamps and dies on this project ... if there's something in particular you'd like more info on, please leave me a comment and your email address so I can get that information for you!

** UPDATE **

I've had requests for the stamps used so I will add them here with links (if available).
SO VERY SORRY - OLD Stampin Up Set  - 'So Very'
Thinking of You - old wooden stamp (no name)
As you grieve . . . Stamp Simply ' Sympathy Sentiments 2'

Also wanted to mention that the little cats and dogs are die cuts ...

Here are a few cards I've created ... it's a start.  Hope to add more as I get time.

If you have any recommendations or suggests on this topic, PLEASE SHARE that info in a comment ... I would surely appreciate your input.
