Tutti Designs - A Nautical Birthday

Hello Friends!
This is the last week I will be sharing cards created using various dies from the Tutti Designs Store that were showcased in March on the UK Hochanda TV show.  In fact, this will me MY LAST CARD FOR TUTTI DESIGNS!  The owner has decided to disband the design team so you will no longer be seeing weekly designs showcasing these dies.  I can't day I'm not disappointed in this decision because I am!, but the owners obviously felt that was the way to go right now.  I hope they were correct!

SO, THIS IS MY FAREWELL DESIGN FOR TUTTI DESIGNS!

The Tutti Designs dies I'm using today are:

Slimline Stitched Wobbly Frames

 Seashell Lighthouse

TUTTI-533 Seashell Lighthouse

Word Set - Happy

 TUTTI-228 Word Set - Happy

 Word Set - Birthday

TUTTI-229 Word Set - Birthday

As you can see in the photo, I have cut the frames from various nautical type background design papers and after die cutting two lighthouses, I fussy cut the light beams away to use just the lighthouses.  A scrap of yellow card stock was placed behind the windows and a bit of coloring was done before popping them up on the page using dimensional tape.

Tutti Designs - Birds of Paradise

 Hello Friends!
Over the next several weeks I will be sharing cards created using various dies from the Tutti Designs Store that were showcased in March on the UK Hochanda TV show.  The Tutti Designs die I'm using today is Bird Stained Glass (400).

TUTTI-400 Birds Stained Glass
In the creation of today's card, I went a little different route from the 'stained glass' look.  While the die cut was still in the die, I colored the birds and a few of the leaves using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers THEN paper pieced them into the white framework which had been adhered to a teal card stock panel.

Tutti Designs - Celebrate Love

Hello Friends!
Over the next several weeks I will be sharing cards created using various dies from the Tutti Designs Store that were showcased in March on the UK Hochanda TV show.  The Tutti Designs dies I'm using today are Scallop Stitched Nesting Circles (419), Dove Circle (100), Word Set Celebrate (243) and Word Set Love (no longer available).

TUTTI-419 Scalloped Stitched Nesting Circles

 TUTTI-100 Dove Circle

 TUTTI-243 Word Set - Celebrate

How this card came together . . .

1.  Die cut the Dove Circle three times, 2 from white card stock and once from gold lamatte paper then glued them all together to create dimension.

2.  Die cut the larges scallop stitched nesting circle from white card stock to use as the base for the Dove Circle.

3.  Background gold lamatte panel was embossed using a 3D embossing folder.

4.  The word Celebrate was also cut multiple times and glued together for dimension and the word Love was cut from a scrap of gold lamatte.

5.  The white doves were die cut from scraps of white card stock the fussy cut to use as decorative elements.

6.  Nuvo white crystal drops were added along the bottom as well as a few in the center of the dove circle as a decorative element.

Tutti Designs - Friends

Hello Friends!
Over the next several weeks I will be sharing cards created using various dies from the Tutti Designs Store that were showcased in March on the UK Hochanda TV show.  The Tutti Designs dies I'm using today are Scallop Stitched Nesting Circles (419), Best Friends (486) and Word Set Friends (234) .

 TUTTI-486 Best Friends

 TUTTI-419 Scalloped Stitched Nesting Circles

 TUTTI-234 Word Set - Friends

How today's card was created is pretty self explanatory!

I've simply die cut the three larger sizes of this circle set from black, white, black card stock and adhered my white die cut focus image to the center of the smallest die of the three. I chose a background designer paper that I thought complimented the image.  Lastly I die cut the largest Friends word die in both black & white to give the same 'shadow' appearance as my main image.

Tutti Designs - I bee-lieve . . .

Hello Friends!

Over the next several weeks I will be sharing cards created using various dies from the Tutti Designs Store that were showcased in March on the UK Hochanda TV show.  The Tutti Designs dies I'm using today are Honeycomb (#552) and Cross Stitch Nesting Circles (#411).

 TUTTI-552 Honeycomb

 TUTTI-411 Cross Stitch Nesting Circles

Here is how today's card came together ...

My background was created using a honeycomb stencil and TH distress ink onto a pale yellow card stock panel.  For my mail focus, I die cut the Honeycomb die from Yellow card stock and then did my coloring of the flowers & bees.  I then die cut two panels from the Cross Stitch Nesting dies to create the background for my focus image and adhered them all together.

A sentiment was stamped onto a white stitched flag, a few Nuvo drops in the upper corner and my card is ready for an inside message and mailing.

Tutti Designs - Anchors Away

 Hello Friends!

Over the next several weeks I will be sharing cards created using various dies from the Tutti Designs Store that were showcased last month on the UK Hochanda TV show.  The dies I'm using today are Ship in a Bottle (#442) and Fishing Net (#444).   I've used a third die that wasn't showcased on the TV show but comes in very handy all the time ... Cross Stitch Nesting Rectangles (#410)

TUTTI-444 Fishing Net

TUTTI-410 Cross Stitch Nesting Rectangles

Here's how this card came together ...

I die cut the ship in a bottle die THREE times ... White, Kraft & Blue.  The ship is actually separate from the bottle, so I was able to do some fussy cutting and gluing and then paper piece it back into place after putting the blue panels back into the white frame on my black background panel.  I used a small sponge & ink to add some color to the coral (at least I think that's supposed to be coral) inside the bottle.  The rope & cork were also inked for added dimension color.

The fishing net was cut from Kraft paper and simply positioned behind my focus image.  I've added a simple sentiment and VIOLA ... ready for mailing.

Tutti Designs - You are the Light ...

Hello Friends!

Over the next several weeks I will be sharing cards created using various dies from the Tutti Designs Store that were showcased last month on the UK Hochanda TV show.  The dies I'm using today are   Seashell Lighthouse (#533) and I've also used Scallop Stitched Nesting Circles (#419).

TUTTI-533 Seashell Lighthouse

 TUTTI-419 Scalloped Stitched Nesting Circles

How my card was created ...

For my main focus panel, I created a background water colored panel using TH distress oxide inks and once dry, cut my lighthouse.   I cut a second lighthouse from white card stock.  Using scissors to snipped away everything but the light house and the light rays on the white lighthouse panel.  I then did a little coloring and glued the two panels together.  Lastly, I die cut one more lighthouse panel ... this time from fun foam and glued them all together for dimension.

Using nautical designer paper I created my card base and the middle sized circle under the lighthouse panel.   Added a sentiment and my card was ready to brighten someone's day.

Tutti Designs - You are a Star!

Hello Friends!

Today I have a slimline design to share with you using one of the newer slimline dies from the Tutti Designs Store.  Be sure to check 'em out!

I have used the Tutti Designs Slimline Stars Background die.

TUTTI-668 Slimline - Stars Background

I've die cut twice ... once from white card stock to use as my base and again from red card stock to use as my paper pieced stars.  A 9 x 7 1/2" Royal Blue card stock was used for my base card.

Tutti Designs - Happy Birthday Ovals

 Hello Friends!

Today I'm sharing a couple birthday cards.
Back in February I shared 2 birthday cards using the Happy Birthday CIRCLE die which I had created for the January 27th UK Hochanda TV Show.  WELL ... I had accidentally used the WRONG die!  I was to use the Happy Birthday OVAL die vs the CIRCLE so I had to quickly make 2 more cards for the show using the CORRECT die!  LOL

Both of these dies are available at the Tutti Designs Store.  Be sure to check 'em out ... they both make
for quick last minute birthday cards you might need!

 TUTTI-284 Happy Birthday Oval
Happy Birthday Circle

For my first card I chose a very simple design to bring attention to the die but did add a flower and some Stickles for sparkle.  Here's a close up for you since I noticed it's difficult to see the details in the full photo.

For my second card using the same die, I've used another simplistic design but this time I die cut from black card stock then adhered it to the largest Tutti Designs Scalloped Stitched Nesting Oval die which was die cut from white card stock.

Using the panel I had cut from my background paper, I matted it in black and placed it horizontally behind my oval panel for added interest.  A few little Nuvo black crystal drops in the corners and VIOLA ... Birthday card ready for mailing!

I forgot to mention that after adhering my die cut to the white panel, I use a couple fine tipped ZIG markers to color in the flowers and leaves.
