Clean Up Card

Hello Everyone!

Over the weekend  I took the time to do a little 'clean up' in my crafting cave.  Typically in the process of a clean up, I gather pieces that are laying around from past projects and put together a card to share with you all.
Here's what I have to share today . . .

When I was creating those pop up box cards for my spring show, I had some extra flowers, leaves & birds left over and sitting in a small container so grabbed a few of those for the focus of today's card.  Also the tag was cut for a past project then decided to do something different.  I usually always have various sentiments die cut and laying around so all of these pieces made for a QUICK put together today.

The Happy Birthday & Tag are Tutti Designs and the flowers, leaves & bird are Heartfelt Creations.

This will be a quick post today since I need to get on the road shortly headed over to my sister's beauty shop for a hair cut and pedicure ... oh yea and meeting Mom for lunch too.  Busy day ahead!

Hope you're having an awesome day!

As always . . .

Tutti Designs - 1 Die 2 Ways

Hello Tutti Friends!
Today I'm  sharing a couple of cards using the same die two different ways from our May 2019 release.  Be sure to pop over and see this latest 'magical' release at the Tutti Designs Store.

The die I'm using today is the Flying Fairy Scene

TUTTI-535 Flying Fairy Scene

All things Fairy & Magical related are really HOT right now and Tutti has designed some amazing dies with that theme in mind in this latest release!

For this card I've die cut the die simply from white card stock ... then cut another white panel using the largest die in the Tutti Designs Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Die set to create my background panel.

I simply sponged on some Tim Holtz distress oxide ink to create the sky/grass illusion, glued on my image and added touches of sparkle in the 'sky'.  I've also used Tutti Designs Happy & Birthday for my sentiment.

FOR MY SECOND CARD . . .

. . . using the same Flying Fairy Scene die, I've cut it apart to create this magical scene.

There are many magical/mystical design papers available in the stores today so I've used one for today's background then simply cut apart my die using the fairy and lower mushroom border to create this scene.  A few stamped sentiments and this card is ready to bring a smile!

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store
and check out all of the fabulous dies available.

Alphabet Challenge - E for Embossing

Hello Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Alphabet Challenge Blog.
Today's letter is "E"
for
Embossing
I just purchased a couple adorable baby die sets and remembered
I had this fabulous 'tufted' embossing folder by WeR Memory Keepers
so a baby card is what I have to share today!

The dies I've used are:

Karen Burniston - Dies - Baby Charms

Sue Wilson Designs - New Arrival Collection - Stork & Baby
Tutti Designs - Dotted Nesting Ovals

I've kept the BABY letter squares all in tact and added a square
piece of  dimensional tape behind each one to keep
them together and add dimension.

I've also added white Nuvo Crystal Drops along the bottom of my embossed panel.

Nuvo Crystal Drops - Gloss White

I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun and
I look forward to being inspired by your creation!!  See you there!
Thanks so much for stopping by...
As always . . .

Believe

WOW!
Have you seen the new magical challenge blog that
is offering their first challenge today?  It's called
Lavinia World Challenges ... check it out!

It just so happens I ordered a few of these Lavinia papers & stamps over at the Dies R Us Store (thought they were unique and intriguing) before Lavinia started up their own store here in the US and today launched their new challenge blog.  So I was all set to create and share when it came live.  This was a lot of fun and their new DT has some amazing inspiration to share on the blog ... like I said ... don't forget to check it out!!

Here's what I came up with . . .

Product used:

Lavinia Papers - A6 - Pink Equinox

Lavinia Stamp - Sky
Lavinia Stamp - Mia

Lavinia Stamp - Slender Mushrooms Miniature

Lavinia Stamps - Mini Leaf 1 Miniature

I could have added a bit of sparkle to the wings (didn't think about it until just now) but it still looks pretty cool just the way it is.   I wanted to add a sentiment but got carried away with my overall scene so simply die cut the Memory Box Fancy Believe (#1280) from white card stock and added it to the bottom.

I've added the item NUMBERS to the end of each linked description above so you can also find these stamps at the Lavinia Store.

I think these stamps would be awesome for kids birthday cards!
What little kid doesn't believe in magic & fairies!!

Be sure to check 'em out and come play along!  I can already see my wishlist growing LOL!!  This was so much fun to create.

Have a great day all!!

As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!

Summertime Parties

Hello Friends and Happy Thursday!

Today I'm sharing a couple of Tissue Box Covers that I received an
order for with summertime party themes.
This lady is having a couple of gatherings coming up and these will be the prizes.
I believe one theme is Summertime Tropics
and the other is a Watermelon Luncheon ... so here are her prizes.

Believe it or not, I had more success finding Flamingo
papers then I did the Watermelon paper!
I actually had a scrap piece of watermelon paper from years ago that
I wish I could have found now ... it was perfect but I hope she
likes what I was able to find.

If you are interested in making tissue box covers yourself,
and need some help, please feel free to check out my instructions
located under my header, in the tab titled TUTORIALS.

Sisterhood of Crafters - Weddings

Hello dear friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over

Our hostess today is Debbie and the theme she has chosen is:

WEDDINGS / ANNIVERSARY

Here's what I have to share ...

Clean & Simple is the design I went with for today's creation.  I recently purchased this die from Dies R Us and actually didn't realize it was an 'edger' die ... but it worked beautifully!

Creative Expressions - Paper Cuts Collection - Best Wishes Edger

As you can see in the above image, there are little flowers incorporated into the
die design ... BUT ... of course, that wasn't quite enough for me so I had a few
Heartfelt flowers laying on my work table ... quickly colored them up and added them over top.  A little dab of Nuvo Yellow Crystal Drops to the flower centers and VIOLA!
NOW I'm Happy!  LOL

I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun at The Sisterhood of Crafters!
My 'sistahs' have created some fabulous creations to help inspire you ...

Tutti Designs - Happy Unicorn Birthday

Happy Monday Dear Friends!
Today I'm sharing a cute creation that would make any little Unicorn lover squeal in delight.  And of course it was created using dies from the Tutti Designs Store.

Next week I will have a card created sharing some of our newly released dies but for today I've chosen a die from our January release as my focus.

And that die is Unicorn.

See those little 'open spaces' on the image above?
Well the mane & tail pieces pop out so I colored them up and then put them back in place before gluing my unicorn down to my Nesting Stitched Circle background panel.

Little dabs of Nuvo white crystal drops were added for a starry appearance.

My thought was, since every little girl like unicorns, I thought this would be a cute birthday card for my sale box and add the Tutti Happy & Birthday to finish it off.  I've used the 'larger' of the two dies this time around.  They are actually die cut from Hot Pink card stock even though in the photo they look red.  (hate when that happens lol)

So Quick, Easy & Adorable!!

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store
and check out all of the fabulous dies available.

Sending Smiles

Hello Friends and Happy Saturday!

The rain has stopped and I'm headed outdoors for awhile but before I do, I wanted to find a fun sketch challenge to play along in and share with you.  I found that fun challenge over on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 Challenge Blog.  Here's what I have to share ... hope you like it!!

Here is their sketch:

I recently purchased some of the new Mintay paper packs over on Frantic Stamper and just had to dive into one of the packs before putting them away.  I chose the 'Berrylicious' 6x6 paper pack.
Mintay by Karola - Berrylicious Collection - 6

I used 2 of the sheets and used fronts & backs to create my card.
I'm not a cat lover ( I know ... please don't hate me)!   I know many people are, and I still think the image on this sheet is just adorable.  I'm sure this card will bring a big smile to someone's face.

I've also used Prima flowers, Nuvo Crystal Drops and  the following dies:

Penny Black - Elegant Stitching Dies
Penny Black - Dies - Elegant Stitching
Impression Obsession - Everyday Top Edgers
Impression Obsession - Dies - Everyday Top Edgers

Well here I am ... lunchtime ... time to grab a bite and get outside.  Hubby is already out there power washing the deck so we can get out table & chairs set up.  We enjoy sitting out there in the morning watching the squirrels and birds while enjoying our morning coffee  (many dinner hours too).

Here's wishing you a WONDERFUL weekend!!

UPDATE:
For those of you who do not follow me on Facebook ...
Power Washing was interrupted when we discovered this sweet fawn hiding next to our deck, up against the house.  So I did the mowing and Mama Deer kept an eye on me until I was done then she came and retrieve her youngin'.
