TOB May Mid Month Reminder

 Hello Friends!

OLD BAT Darlene here to remind you we are half way through the month and you don't want to miss out on joining in the fun over on the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge Blog.

I've created a card to help inspire you  ... what do you think??

I've had this skeleton designer paper in my stash for years ... it worked perfectly for today's card since the skeleton in the upper left corner of our mood board is what inspired me.

The center skeleton is a rub on purchased through Scrapbook.com.
I die cut the similar shape using a very old Spellbinder Nestabilities die set
and a different Spellbinder oval set for the pink background panel.
The flowers are by Prima.

Just Playing Around . . .

 Hello Friends ...

I've been busy getting everything lined up for our upcoming European River Cruise but needed a little 'me' time so decided to stamp/die cut one of the pretty sets I found down in Amish Country when I went with a couple crafting friends at the end of April.

I've used one of the stamps from this Heartfelt Creations set I found and created a few easy cards ...

 Here are my cards ...

I've colored with Tombow markers, used a scrap piece of colored card stock and added Nuvo drops.  the sentiment comes from the Simon Says 'Vintage Garden' stamp set.

For these two cards, I once again used Tombow markers for the coloring.  A Tim Holtz stencil was used for the background, Nuvo drops and sentiments are stamp/die sets from Pink Fresh and The Ton.

I hope you've enjoyed what I've created & shared with you today.
I draw so much inspiration from all of you that I can only hope to inspire someone else with my creations.

As always ... thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and say Hello!!

Hugs From Ohio!

FLOWERS at the Sisterhood

 Hello my friends!

Today I have a card for the new challenge over on The Sisterhood of Crafters!

Our theme today is:

FLOWERS

This was a fun card to create!

The stamp I used is from Simon Says, called 'Wild & Free Flowers' (2026ssc).  Tombow markers were used for the coloring and pink Nuvo crystal drops for accent.

After coloring my image I decided I wanted to die cut an oval from the image but I didn't have a large enough oval die.  Then, a light bulb went off in my head and I remembered from years ago how I could fussy cut around the leaves and put the die up under the hand cut leaves and got the affect you see above.
