I spotted some beautiful Rub-Ons over at Scrapbook.com so I just had to put in an order.  They make for such quick & beautiful cards along with another Mintay paper pack for the background.  Doesn't get much easier than this for a quick card of encouragement.  Lord knows we are all in need of encouraging words these days!!!

Today I went to my Mintay 'Paradise' papers to back up this beautiful Stamp On It
beach scene image.  And I thought it shared a good message to us all.  The front & back paper pack covers offer some cute little coordinating elements so I fussy cut the Beach sign and the corner florals.

Word Power (7/25) Challenge

This is an OLD OLD (circa 2010) wooden stamp by the Stampabilities company that was purchased at one of my favorite stores in Canton, OH called Pat Catans.  Unfortunately, Michaels bought them out several years ago (like one Michael's store wasn't enough in that same area!!).  I think I paid a $1 for it back then and there were always fun crafting things to find at 'Catans'.  Sure do miss that store! 

How our crafting experience has changed over the past 10-20 years!

I used a Tombow marker for the coloring ... an OLD sticker strip for the black/white and Orange Nuvo crystal drops.  Easy, Peasy!

With June being 'berry picking month', I decided to make a quick & easy card
using Stamperia.com 'Forest' rub ons and a My Favorite Things sentiment stamp from my late friend Doni's collection of stamps.

 

We all need a reminder from time to time to just slow down and enjoy the day.  Things are kind of crazy in our world today and so many people are having so many struggles ... I thought this card might be a good reminder to look around and realize 'it could be worse' and it's a good day to have a good day!!
