Gracielle Designs Blog Hop, Release & Give Away

WOW!  There's a lot of excitement at Gracielle Designs today!
She has a NEW AUGUST RELEASE to share, along with a Blog Hop that I'm THRILLED to tell you I've been asked to be a part of!   I hope you'll come join in the fun and check out these fabulous new stamps!
Here's a peek at her new, 6 stamp set release ... it's AWESOME!!

And, there's even a coordinating Special Edition Paper Pack to go along with these awesome new stamps!

Today I chose the 'Thankful Lilies' stamp set to create with.  These lilies are beautiful, and with so many wonderful sentiments to choose from, this set gives you some fabulous options.

This panel turned out so well, you could simply use it by itself on a card front . . .

Or, go one step further and dress it up a bit with corner dies & sequins ...
GORGEOUS if I do say so myself.

Here are a few helpful tips on how I used this set to create today's card:

Step 1:  I use Word10 to manipulate & print my digital stamps.  I set my paper size to 4x6 to begin ... this helps me keep my image size in perspective to my A6 or A7 card front.

Step 2:  Insert my focus image.

Step 3:  I decided I wanted to create a small 'cluster' of lilies for my card front so after inserting my first lily, I inserted a second lily image and shrunk it down in size a little.  Next, by RIGHT clicking my mouse, I chose 'wrap' - 'square', which gives me the ability to move the image anywhere I want on the page.

Step 4:  After positioning my 2nd lily, I inserted the lily buds and following the same process, positioned it where I thought it looked best.

Step 5:  My last decision was what sentiment(s) I wanted to add and again I have followed the same process for positioning.

Step 6:  Lastly, I 'grouped' them together so I didn't make a mistake and accidentally move one image or another during the printing process.

Now to have fun with coloring my image and creating my design.  I've used Spectrum Noir alcohol markers for the coloring today.  Markers used were:  PP1, PP2, PP3, PP4, DG1, DG2 & GB6.

I hope you'll come join in our hop and be sure to check out this new August Release along with all the other beautiful stamps available at Gracielle Designs. Time to get hopping!!
