A Day at the Beach . . .

Hello Bloggers ...
Believe it or not, I'm away from home AGAIN (been a busy summer for me, lol).
I'm visiting some of my midwest crafting friends this week and staying with Michigan friend, Diane Hover (Nellie's Nest).

She has the week FILLED with things for us to do starting with going to the Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival in Nappanee, Indiana tomorrow, a shopping trip to Shipshewana, Indiana on Friday, a full day of crafting with friends Joan Fricker (past owner of Joan's Gardens) and Judy Studer on Saturday,  going to a Botanical Garden and the 'BIG' Casino on Sunday ... {take a BREATH} ... then heading back home on Monday to get rested up!  LOL

But before we are off and running, I wanted to share a card I created last evening before heading to Diane's house early this morning. with a couple fun challenges in mind.

The sketch for today's card comes from the Mojo Monday Challenge #459 and my theme of choice comes from the Memory Box 'YELLOW' challenge.

Aren't these little kids adorable!  It was actually a full 8x8 sheet from the Graphic45 'By the Sea' designer paper pack that I cut this portion from to use as my focus image.  I had a few embellishments laying on the work table (you're going to think I never clean my work table!  LOL) so I put them to good use here.

Product used:
Memory Box 'Seaside Treasures' #99107, Memory Box 'Sandal Border' #98332, Poppy Stamps 'Classic Ribbons' #1005, SU Print Pack designer paper 6x6,Tim Holtz 'tea dye' distress ink, large sponge dauber, white Gelly Roll pen for faux stitching.

A few challenges to share in:
Crafty Creations Challenge - On the Beach
Frilly and Funky Challenge - By the Sea

Thanks so much for stopping by ...
As always . . .
