Four Seasons Challenge - Winter (2/2025)

 Hello Friends

Over at the Four Seasons Challenge Blog, we are ready for a change in seasons!
This months theme is:

Anything Goes - WINTER

check out this fabulous inspiration board we have created to help inspire you . . .

Nothing says winter more then a snowy day and around here this time of year, you really have to be watching for deer.  With all the corn fields being cut down, they are looking for food so driving around whether daylight, dusk or night time ... you always have to be keeping your eyes open.

I actually pulled this card together from a few left overs on the work table.
This regal buck has been moved from one location to another and this background scene which I created during the holidays and then never used also screamed out to me to be used.  A little bit of torn paper for snow mounds, a sentiment and Voila ... card complete.

Please be sure to check out our other fun challenge blogs.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

As always . . .

Love Those Pretty Papers February 2025 Challenge

  Hello Dear Friends

It's a new month and that means it's time for a new challenge over on our
LOVE THOSE PRETTY PAPERS blog.

Today, our OPTIONAL theme is . . .

the Color RED
.

Diane & I will be sharing a Themed pretty paper card as well as an Anything Goes card.

Here's my card using today's THEME:

The pretty papers used today are from the Ken Oliver 'Watercolored Memories' pack (KN05954).  And, I've used a Hearty Crafts 3D topper from the HC11188 Snowdrops pack for my focus flowers.  The sentiment is a die set from Tutti Designs.

Now for my 2nd card (anything goes) ...

I must admit, I have a LOT of designer papers and several of them come in the form of paper packs.  I like these paper packs as a lot of the different panels coordinate with each other.  Today I took three sheets from a very OLD paper pack I purchased years ago at Hobby Lobby.  It's by the Paper Studio and called 'Kirby Teesdale Studio' (686154).  The image below is of the 12x12 pack so you can see the paper patterns easily.  I three different panels and cut them into strips to create the background for my card.

The sentiment used today is one from my 'Doni Collection' (my friend who passed away in May and left me all her stamps) and is by My Favorite Things.  Since I had left over strips, I also added a couple to the sentiment panel to help pull it all together.  A few little prima flowers and this card is ready for an inside message & a postage stamp!

I hope you've enjoyed what I created to inspire you today!  Please come join our fun and show us what you have created using pretty patterned papers.

Thanks for stopping by and as always . . .
