Best Doggone Birthday Ever!!

 Hello & Happy Friday All!

It's going to be a very busy weekend for me (3 Day Family Reunion) so I wanted to create something for my blog since I've been MIA a lot lately.  To do so, I went to Paper Playful and looked through challenges and came up with a couple to use for my guidelines.

What do you think??

I used papers from two different Echo Park 6x6 packs,
Tutti Designs 'Stitched Nesting Hexagon' dies,
Tim Holtz 'Crazy Dogs' stamp,
Tombow markers then fussy cut,
faux stitched with Tombow markers,
Computer generated sentiment and lastly,
a dog bone die from an Amy Designs set.

 Here are the challenges I chose . . .

Freshly Made Sketches #700 (Aug 26)

The Color Throwdown #839 (Sept 1)
#ctd839 and #colorthrowdown

The Paper Funday Challenge #79 - ATG w/optional Twist: 4 Legged Friends (Sept 3)

Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Stitch It

I hope you have a fun weekend ahead also!    As always ... thanks again for stopping by!

Double D - Butterflies

 Hello Dear Friends!

It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!

Here's today's theme:

BUTTERFLIES

and here's an inspiration board created to help get you started . . .

 OH MY GOODNESS!
I could have gone in SO MANY directions with this theme ... too bad we only share 1 sample card lol.  But I actually took the easy route today as I've been wanting to use this image and the background paper I had just purchased worked perfectly to 'set the scene'.

The background designer paper is from the Paper Rose 'Bees & Butterflies' 6x6 paper pack.  The double sided paper pack is beautiful!!!

And, my image is from a sticker book I bought online called 'The Harvest Time'.

I thought pairing these two together would make the perfect Thinking of You card.
What do you think??

You'll want to be sure to pop over to the Double D Challenge Blog to see all the details and amazing samples offered up by our VERY TALENTED design team ladies!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope to see you at Double D!

  As always . . .
