January Power & Spark Challenge at Power Poppy

Hello Friends!
I just received my newletter from Power Poppy and discovered there is a fun new challenge for January.  It is the Power and Spark challenge and they want you to grab a map.  WHAT?  I know, lol, confused me for a minute too but after reading further I discovered  a Map is just a sketch.  And, there are TEN maps (sketches) to choose from ... I love a good sketch so got busy creating.  What fun choices ... check 'em out HERE.

I chose Allison Cope and her 'map' for today's card.
(little secret ... I'm working on different one for tomorrow!)

Be sure to take a peek at all the amazing designs by the DT using these fabulous sketches!

This was great fun to create and I was actually able to use up some of my very old 6x6 paper that I vowed to start using vs stacking new paper packs on top of them.  (I think they have a name for that?  Hmmm ... can you say HOARDING? lol)

Product used:
Papers:  white cs, rust cs, apricot cs, med blue cs, black cs, Basic Grey 'Marrakech Paper Pad'
Accessories:  White Nuvo crystal drops, Really Reasonable Ribbon

Please be sure to pop over and see all the beautiful designs and 'maps' !  I'm sure like me, you won't be able to resist and will just have to start creating!

Thanks in advance for your comments and
please check out this challenge ... awesome fun!

It's good to see you using those papers and playing along in the sketch challenge! Yes, I can say "hoarding" because I'm guilty of it. The first step is realizing you have a problem, tee hee! Seriously, these papers are cute and I love the critters. Your ribbon is such a perfect match, and the flower makes a really cute accent. I have two favorite sketches in the bunch and this is one of them. I'll be sharing the other favorite on Monday, but now you make me want to do this one, too!
