Hello Friends!
I just received my newletter from Power Poppy and discovered there is a fun new challenge for January. It is the
Power and Spark challenge and they want you to grab a map. WHAT?
I know, lol, confused me for a minute too but after reading further I discovered a Map is just a sketch. And, there are TEN maps (sketches) to choose from ... I love a good sketch so got busy creating. What fun choices ... check 'em out HERE.
I chose Allison Cope and her 'map' for today's card.
(little secret ... I'm working on different one for tomorrow!)
Be sure to take a peek at all the amazing designs by the DT using these fabulous sketches!
This was great fun to create and I was actually able to use up some of my very old 6x6 paper that I vowed to start using vs stacking new paper packs on top of them. (I think they have a name for that? Hmmm ... can you say HOARDING? lol)
Product used:
Papers: white cs, rust cs, apricot cs, med blue cs, black cs, Basic Grey 'Marrakech Paper Pad'
Stamps: Power Poppy 'Sassy Succulents'
Dies: Karen Burniston 'Woodland Animals', Sue Wilson 'Pierced Flags', Sue Wilson 'Delicate Daisies - Open Petals'
Accessories: White Nuvo crystal drops, Really Reasonable Ribbon
Please be sure to pop over and see all the beautiful designs and 'maps' ! I'm sure like me, you won't be able to resist and will just have to start creating!
