Happy Day to you all!!
I'm having so much fun playing in the Power & Spark Challenge, I just had to create
a second card using a different sketch from the ten sketches (maps) offered!
You can check out all the fabulous sketches & the teams samples HERE.
For today's card I chose the map used by DT member Katie Simms.
And this is the page map I chose:
Here is my interpretation of the map . . .
I can guarantee you if I hadn't had this sketch to begin, I would have
NEVER come up with a beautiful design like this on my own!!
I really do LOVE how this card came together.
I've used the same Power Poppy stamp set called Sassy Succulents
for my sentiment and I think the font goes so well with the over all design.
Product used:
Papers: White cs, Basic Grey 'Marrakech Paper Pad'
Dies: Sue Wilson 'Striplet Floral Meadows', Sue Wilson 'Stitched Flags', Memory Box 'Glorious Gerber Daisies, Sue Wilson 'Delicate Daisies - Open Petals'
Accessories: Jambo Lace Roll Tape, 3M dimensional tape, Art Glitter glue, Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers
After cutting my designer paper to a 3" width (card is A6 in size), I then die cut the striplet and bordered it with lace.
Then to add dimension, I die cut the daisies 4 times from white card stock, stacked them together and colored the top panel using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers before attaching to the 'stack'.
Another fun crafting day!
