Hello my friends!
Sorry I've not posted anything for a few days ... wow time sure flies by!
But today I created a fun card for a 'new to me' challenge called
and check out this beautiful photo they are sharing for inspiration.

My good friend Diane (Nellie's Nest) told me about this challenge
and she joined in the fun too ... be sure to check out her creation!
Here's what I came up with . . .
It drives me crazy that my camera turns some of my colors to something
other than what they really are ... like this card is such a pretty soft pink and
it looks more like coral or peach in the photos ...Grrr! And, I tried a variety
of settings but evidently I need to READ the book that came with
my camera ... when I get time! LOL
But in the meantime, please know I did go with the PINK color used in the challenge photo.
I was inspired by the embossed background first & foremost, so after going
through my embossing folder bin, I settled on this pretty ProvoCraft Cuttlebug folder.
The beautiful Lily of the Valley die I used is from Tutti Designs
as is the Hello sentiment. The bird is a Martha Stewart punch.
I die cut my Lily of the Valley from white card stock first ...
then again from a scrap of soft pink card stock.
I fussy cut the oval and flower portion so that the leaves were still
on the white card stock, of which I colored using my Spectrum Noir alcohol marker LG2.
Then glued the pink panel on top of the white die cut panel.

As always . . .
