Good Sunday Evening ...
Even though I should be taking down Christmas (yes ... it's still up ... I was waiting for my mother to come visit but now she's not going to make it) so I'll start putting Christmas away tomorrow and today I'm playing a few challenges!!
I believe this is my first time playing the Card Patterns Sketch Challenge and I took the easy way out! As you can see on the sketch the main focus image is a tag. I have had a package of 7Gypsies tags hanging on my product board for months now and thought today's sketch challenge was the perfect time to use one.
I've taken the liberty of flipping the sketch then created my background panels by using a panel of garden green cardstock (cut in half) then stamped in Versafine Black ink using the SU French Script stamp for the bottom half and the SU Crosshatch stamp for the top half. A scrap piece of black cardstock helps to seperate the two different patterns.
So, what do you think??? This was fun and I look forward to playing along with the challenge blog again. Thanks for stopping by & taking a peek!!
Love the colour combo. It's very elegant.
