Love and Vintage . . .

. . . go hand in hand in my book.  Because I LOVE VINTAGE, I'm always attracted to that soft, sweetness of the images, lace, cherubs, ... well you get this picture!

Today I have a sweet, vintage style image from Nana Vic Digitals to create with and here's what I've come up with.  I've also lined the envelope with the matching Making Memories designer paper to satisfy one of the challenge below.

I have used a combination of Whisper Strokes markers and Prismacolor markers for my coloring of this image.  The satin ribbon is Offray and I've used another combination of flowers that were laying around on my craft table.  I have used Quickie Glue and Deco Art Glamour Dust on the wings of the cherubs.  Here is a close-up of the card itself.  Isn't this a fun digi image?  Be sure to pop over and see all the wonderful images available at Nana Vic's.

Challenges this card fits are:
Aly's Sunday Challenge - Things with Wings
One Stitch at a Time - Love & Valentines
Sentiment Sunday - Sentiment and Anything with Wings
Stampin' Sisters in Christ - Wings
Stamp Something - Use a digi
Wags & Whiskers - Valentines
Just Us Girls - Line a Matching Envelope

One more creation I'd like to quickly share with you is a TAG I created for the NEW TAG CHALLENGE over at Joan's Gardens each week.  Today I decided to make this lovely VINTAGE TAG that can be used for any lady's gift.

The background paper used is Webster's Pages (purchased at Joan's Gardens) and the image is Crafty Secrets.  Embellishments are Wild Orchid roses (purchased at Joan's Gardens), Basic Grey Opaline pearls, Peel-Off butterfly sticker and Darice ribbon.  I have used Tim Holtz Linen distress ink to distress the edges of the image & tag.  Hope you like it.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today!  I can't express how much I value your support and opinions!  Thanks Everyone!!

Hugs
Darlene
