Happy Saturday All!
Before I get busy with Easter fixins' I wanted to share a card with you that was actually inspired by a couple of friends. Donna (Crafting By The Beach) shared a card for the current Power Poppy Stamp challenge which I found to be unique by giving you a choice of three different sketches to choose from for your creation and Barbara (My Creative Room) who shared a card for the current challenge at Seize the Birthday where you are to use two patterned papers and of course, birthday themed.
Here's what I came up with:
For the Power Poppy 'Pick-a-Sketch', I chose Sketch #1.
I have had the fabulous Tutti Designs 'Nesting Stitched Banners' for awhile now and hadn't used them so that was the defining decision maker on which sketch to choose. The background paper I used is by Doodlebug Designs called Petite Prints and the color is Bubblegum. I wished I had noticed I had this sheet when I was creating my card for the current Neon/Brights challenge at Double D ... would have been PERFECT! Oh Well... LOL!
I was thrilled to see I did have a stamp set from Power Poppy called 'Sassy Succulents' to use on today's creation. I must admit I think this is the first time I inked up this set and I'll be using it more often ... love the images and especially the sentiments in this set.
A few touches of ribbon and sequins and my card is complete.

As you can see, I also used one of the Tutti Designs banners for my inside sentiment.
I must confess . . .
remember the other day I mentioned all those cards I received from organizations we make contributions to? Well this is the inside sentiment from one of those cards. In fact, I received two of the same set of cards so I still have a set to give to my Mom for the church to use and can upcycle the inside of the other set for myself. Works for me!! LOL
