Happy Weekend All!
While going through the blogs this morning (and working on cards for a local shop called Marge's Place At Portage Lakes (https://portagelakescommunity.com/portage-lakes-tea-shop/) which is located on Portage Lakes just outside of Akron, OH and wanting an 'anchor theme'), I was inspired by today's post over on the Tutti Designs Blog by Laurie Schmidt (Stampin Up North).
Here is Laurie's card ...
And, here is my version ...
INSIDE |
Using the same dies from the Tutti Designs Store, I love how it came together.
I left the inside blank so the person purchasing this card can use it for a variety of occasions! But of course, just had to add another anchor on the inside to carry the theme through.
Since my card is the next size up from the one Laurie created, I had extra bordering space so simply did some faux stitching using a white Gelly Roll pen. I think it ties in nicely with the stitching around my focus rectangle. My stars are from an EK Success Die set called Nautical, purchased at the Dies R Us store. And, a strand of red/white baker's twine was the only other accent needed to complete the look.

I hope you are off to a great start to your weekend!
