Can You Handle the Pressure - Twist - Zoo / Jungle Animals

Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!

We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog and the TWIST theme is ...

Zoo / Jungle Animals

Remember, the twist is optional but you MUST use an embossing folder on our projects to qualify for the prize.  Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with an embossing folder.

Here's what I've created to inspire you today.

On my embellishment board directly across from where I sit at my computer, hung a sheet of Zoo Animal stickers by the Paper Studio that have been hanging there for quite some time.  Of course they were screaming at me to take them down and use one of them on today's card lol.

I first looked around at what 'zoo animal' paper I might have in my stash that would coordinate with the animals available on the sticker sheet and the Zebra won!  LOL  I actually found a zebra strip paper in a kids paper pack by Doodlebug Design Inc called 'At the Zoo'.

Now to pick out an embossing folder that would showcase him properly.  Viola ... I thought this OLD Sizzix #657086 (no longer available ... told you it was OLD lol) folder would be perfect.

I used another OLD product ... a SU corner punch to create my corners and after adding the zebra, I noticed a few leaves on the sheet so added a couple to the front ... AND ... to the inside of my card.

I do hope you'll come check out our challenge blog and play along.

  10. Wow, I love how you used this embossing folder. It's a great idea to repeat the oval in the inside of your card. The folder itself is simply brilliant. The zebra motif looks so pretty in the middle of the oval. I love that you placed the green leaves on top too. It's a real eye-catcher. And it's really great that the background paper reflects the zebra's stripes.
Thank you for entering in the current Critter Crazy Challenge with this amazing card.
    Hugs, Uschi
