FLOWERS at the Sisterhood

 Hello my friends!

Today I have a card for the new challenge over on The Sisterhood of Crafters!

Our theme today is:

FLOWERS

This was a fun card to create!

The stamp I used is from Simon Says, called 'Wild & Free Flowers' (2026ssc).  Tombow markers were used for the coloring and pink Nuvo crystal drops for accent.

After coloring my image I decided I wanted to die cut an oval from the image but I didn't have a large enough oval die.  Then, a light bulb went off in my head and I remembered from years ago how I could fussy cut around the leaves and put the die up under the hand cut leaves and got the affect you see above.

  1. Beautiful flowers and I love your layout with the out of the box die cutting. I remember doing this technique in the past. It adds a really nice element of interest without having to fussy cut the whole dang thing. It turned out fabulous!
