Hello friends . . .
Welcome to the 2nd week of 2026 ... already time is buzzing by!
My favorite color is purple and when I spotted a couple challenge focusing on that color, I just had to create and join in the fun. Those challenges are Beautiful Blossoms #36 where they have this beautiful vase of purple flowers as their inspiration . . . And the second challenge I'm playing in is over on the
{PIN}spirational Blog, Challenge #333 for January where they have this amazing image for inspiration . .

Last year (enabled by BFF Diane - Nellie's Nest), I purchases several sheets of these Katy Sue 3D Decoupage Sheets when I saw how beautiful they were on the cards she created! I'm afraid my photos truly don't do them justice! Both my phone & my camera don't pick up the color purple well but trust me when I tell you the colors in this image are beautiful IRL!
Here's a zoomed in image ... hope this helps you see the beauty!
This particular Katy Sue sheet is called 'Champage & Violets' (11-DCD609).

I have even used all the word panels with the exception of the Happy Anniversary.
Here's a peek at the inside.
I will dress it up a bit more with some prima flowers or a lacy die cut before sending.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and hope your 2026 is off to a FABULOUS start!!

So very beautiful, can't go wrong with those 3D's, a bit 'picky' to put together but so worth it in the end as your card dictates!!

ReplyDeleteYup, purple is your color alright! I too was enabled by Diane to buy Katy Sue, but it's for a friend's upcoming birthday. I looked for the toppers you use, also, but not sure what's the best site. This is a gorgeous piece you've created!
