Hello Friends . . .
With Mother's Day just this last weekend, my thoughts went to my local crafting friend Donette (Doni) High (blog name was Lime Green Giggles) who sadly passed away 2 years ago Mother's Day of a heart attack. I was fortunate enough to make her acquaintance and spend some quality time crafting, chatting & going out for lunch with her for only a couple of years but we sure made the most of our time together.
Upon her passing, her family honored me with all her stamps and today I'm using one in her honor!
MISS YOU MY FRIEND!!
Doni was an animal lover! Primarily cats but she enjoyed the neighbors dog too!
This stamp set is by Penny Black and is called 'Doggone Sweet'.

Doni's picture shows such a beautiful sparkle. You honor her every time you use one of her stamps. This dog reminds me so much of our Wally, who has been gone almost 3 years now, but still very much alive in my heart. When he slept like this it always appeared as if he'd melted. Love your sweet card, Darlene!
