The Robyn's Fetish Challenge #314 -"MOTHER'S DAY CARDS" - 05/1/2016

Happy Sunday Friends ...
it's time for a new, fun challenge at Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog!

This week's challenge is:

MOTHER'S DAY CARDS
 Today's sponsor is Sami Stamps
SAMI STAMPS

One lucky winner will receive a $12 gift certificate from the Sami Stamps store.
So be sure to come join in our challenge fun!  That lucky winner could be YOU!!

I had so much fun creating a card today using the 'A Rose for Mom' digi stamp
and used my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers for my coloring.

What a precious image and it could be used for
Mother's Day, a Birthday or Just Because.

I colored and fussy cut this sweet image then built my card around it.
I wanted to bring focus to the yellow rose ... hence the yellow polka dot background panel.

After die cutting the largest circle and decorative inner ring from the Sue Wilson 'Italian Collection' die set from white card stock, I cut it once again (minus the decorative ring) using red card stock then attached the two together.  The little white hearts on the word YOU are from those that popped out of the inside ring.

I hope you'll take a minute and swing by the Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog
to see all the fabulous creations the team has designed to inspire you.

  5. This is a beautiful card my friend and I love that you chose to focus on the little rose to bring out that yellow. Yellow looks great and it really pops. The dies that you used are awesome! I love that you used the heart cut outs too! Thank you for linking this up in our Mother's Day Funday Friday challenge!

  6. What a sweet, sweet card and, of course, you have the perfect dies for it. As always, I love the yellow, and it's so pretty the way you layered the SW die over the red. Those tiny heart cut outs are so cute accenting the letters, too!
