it's time for a new, fun challenge at Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog!

I'm sad to say this will be my last post as a DT member for Robyn's Fetish!  Hubby and I have decided to do some additional traveling this summer so I've had to reprioritize my crafting life a bit!

I can't thank Robyn's Fetish, Susan and the design team enough for all the wonderful encouragement and fun they've shared with me over the past several months.  I will miss them but fully intend to join in the Robyn's Fetish fun once again when the weather changes and things slow down.  THANKS LADIES!!!

For you today I've created an Easel Birthday Card for a little boy with big dreams!

The Paper Shelter's digi image 'The Little Sorcerer's Apprentice' was just perfect for this little guy!

What a fun image to color and create with.  I've again used my favorite coloring medium  ... my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, some sparkly design paper and a perfect star die cut embellishment.

My sentiment was computer generated in Word10 and printed onto a 4x6 piece of white card stock.  Matted on the same design paper and attached to the lower part of the inside panel to create the stand for my easel.

I just HAD to add some sparkle to the stars on the sorcerer's hat and by highlighting around this adorable image in (TB1) blue, you can almost feel the MAGIC!

What fun I had coloring and creating with the adorable Dancing Daphne image. 

My creation started with coloring this sweet image using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.
THEN I decided to showcase her by using this flourish die cut, only to realize
that the die cut actually cuts out the inside panel ... SO
I cut another panel from mint green and used the outside ring to highlight
the colors used in my image.

The corner die cut was a scrap I had left over from doing demo at the Heartfelt Creations
booth a few weeks back at the Adventures in Stamping convention held here in Akron, OH.
And, the butterflies were just 'hangin out' on my work table ...
they were the right color so ... why not!!  LOL

Anyone who knows me KNOWS my favorite color is PURPLE! 

Always have been ... Always will be!  LOL!!

My phone case is purple, my purse is purple, my toenails are purple,  my winter coat and spring jacket are purple ... I even painted my kitchen purple a couple years ago!  LOL

SO ... what color do you think I used on today's card??  

YEP!!!    PURPLE!

Isn't this sweet 'Spring Girl' image adorable?

You could use her for so many occasions but today since I was in need of

more Birthday cards for little girls, birthday was my choice.

 I always have trouble photographing purple ... keeps coming out blue.

BUT, today the purple is correct but her skin tone makes her look a bit 'jaundice' ... uugh!! 

 Just can't win sometimes!  LOL!

I've used Spectrum Noir alcohol markers for my coloring.  I love that you can die cut your accent pieces from white card stock then match them to your image by using the same color tones.  Here I've used LV1, LV2 & LV3.  On the Happy Birthday die cut I initially colored it with the lightest shade (LV1), but when I laid it on the card front it blended too well with the background paper and didn't stand out ... SO I used the darker (LV3) and dabbed over top leaving some of the lighter areas peeking through.

I had so much fun creating a card today using the 'A Rose for Mom' digi stamp

and used my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers for my coloring.

 What a precious image and it could be used for

Mother's Day, a Birthday or Just Because.

I colored and fussy cut this sweet image then built my card around it.

I wanted to bring focus to the yellow rose ... hence the yellow polka dot background panel.

 After die cutting the largest circle and decorative inner ring from the Sue Wilson 'Italian Collection' die set from white card stock, I cut it once again (minus the decorative ring) using red card stock then attached the two together.  The little white hearts on the word YOU are from those that popped out of the inside ring.

Today, I've had the honor of creating with the Sunflower 2 digi from Robyn's Fetish Store

and the 'Garden Darcee' image from My Stitch Back in Twine Store.

 Since our challenge is Anything BUT a Card,

I decided to create a gift bag and matching tag.

The images I chose from each store

worked together so well and I'm very happy with the outcome.

I started out by printing and coloring this sweet 'Garden Darcee' image.  I've used Spectrum Noir alcohol markers for my coloring

and dark brown card stock for my matting.

 Then with a regular brown lunch bag that you can purchase at just about any department store, I chose a designer paper that could

compliment the image/colors.

I also used the same designer paper to create the handle for my gift bag.  By adding a few sticker sunflowers from my scrapbooking stash, this fun gift bag came together quickly.

My matching tag was die cut using the Sue Wilson 'Frames & Tags - Pierced Tags' #CED4305.

I colored my Robyn's Fetish sunflower using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers then fussy cut around the image and POPPED it up on the tag.  The '4U' are Creative Memories stickers and for my ribbon I've used raffia. 

I think this set will come in very handy come fall when I

want to share a gift of homemade 'something or other' 

with a friend or neighbor.

Today I'm creating with two images from the 'Sunshine In My Garden' set.

The watering can and sentiment are both part of this set.

I simply brought the images into a WORD document in order to place

the sentiment on the front of the watering can, then colored the image 

with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

Here's a peek at the left side of the inside of my card.

There is room on the right side for any addition message/greeting.

The sunflowers and bees are stickers I had in my 

scrapbooking stash and the 'hello' is a Technique Tuesday die set.

Today I'm creating with an image called 'Little Deer'

Now, I must admit my 'deer' looks more like a little lamb ...
but that's okay ... that just shows the versatility in this sweet image.
I've used Spectrum Noir alcohol markers for my coloring.

My hand made flowers were created using Heartfelt Creations
stamps and matching dies.  They have been stamped
in sepia ink so I can color them any accent color I choose to
match in with my card creations.  Here I've chosen pinks/purples to match
this sweet young ladies dress.

Today I'm creating with an image called 'Shopping Mod Girl'.

When I was creating today's card it was snowing and blowing outside

and I was longing for the green, green grass of Springtime

so my color scheme today is green!  lol

Doesn't this adorable image have the most beautiful face?

And, I love hats ... too bad we don't wear hats anymore!

Like the British do ... something SO LADYLIKE about a hat!!

My design is simple because I wanted the focus to be on

my image and the doily.  

Another item that has been lost here in the USA

but still used frequently in the decorating in Britain (at least I think they are).

Correct me if I'm wrong.
