It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Here's today's theme:

and here's an inspiration board created to help get you started . . .
WOW! My brain was going so many different directions on this one!!
But ... here's what I finally came up with . . .
I truly enjoy embossing folders and today's 3D folders are amazing!
The two folders I've used today are not 3D but they still add such wonderful texture to a card. I've used an old Cuttlebug (forget the pattern name) for the blue top portion. Did a little fussy cutting to add more drama lol. And used the Taylored Expression 'Houndstooth' for the bottom white panel.

I recently picked up a few floral sticker sheets by the Paper Studio at Hobby Lobby recently and when I saw the blue flowers starring at me from across the room (they were hanging on the pegboard lol) ... I just knew I had to use one of the blue flowers and turn this into a birthday card.
Bakers Twine & Nuvo drops added just a little more texture to my creation!
