By the Sea . . .

Hello my friends!

Hope you're having a FABULOUS weekend!

The card I have to share today is a 'side step card' and what fun I had creating it.  I was inspired by my friend Diane (Nellie's Nest) to join in the new challenge blog called Back to Basics and Beyond where she is a DT member!  Their theme is actually 'A Simple Stepper Card'.  I used the directions shared on Diane's blog post which came from Splitcoast Stampers ... you can find them HERE.

The designer paper I chose for today's creation is from an older Graphic45 8x8 paper pack called By the Sea.  A bit of fussy cutting here and there was done for my nautical elements.  Also used a few dies ...

And, did you notice the Seahorse up on the right corner of the netting?
It came from the Frantic Stampers 'Sea Creatures' die set.

This was so much fun to create, I just might have to make a few more!!  LOL
