By the Sea . . .

Hello my friends!
Hope you're having a FABULOUS weekend!

The card I have to share today is a 'side step card' and what fun I had creating it.  I was inspired by my friend Diane (Nellie's Nest) to join in the new challenge blog called Back to Basics and Beyond where she is a DT member!  Their theme is actually 'A Simple Stepper Card'.  I used the directions shared on Diane's blog post which came from Splitcoast Stampers ... you can find them HERE.

What do you think???

The designer paper I chose for today's creation is from an older Graphic45 8x8 paper pack called By the Sea.  A bit of fussy cutting here and there was done for my nautical elements.  Also used a few dies ...

Tutti Designs Scalloped Stitched Rectangles

TUTTI-418 Scalloped Stitched Nesting Rectangles

TUTTI-446 Anchor

And, did you notice the Seahorse up on the right corner of the netting?
It came from the Frantic Stampers 'Sea Creatures' die set.

This was so much fun to create, I just might have to make a few more!!  LOL

Challenges to share in:
Not Just Cards July Challenge - ATG
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Fun in the Sun
Through the Purple Haze July Challenge #146 - Marine
Unicorn Challenge #34 - Stitching Real or Faux  (around the main image)
Dragonfly Dreams July Challenge - Summer
Crafteezee Challenge - Summer
Color It, Create it, Show it Off July Challenge - Under the Sea / Anything Goes

I hope you've enjoyed today's share and just maybe I've inspired you to come join in this fun new challenge!  Have a great weekend and hope to see you over on the BBB Challenge Blog.

As always . . .

Sheesh, you sure got this just right! It looks like your pieces were designed and cut for you, all ready to fit onto the step card. I'm pretty sure it was all YOU, though! Awesome crafty combo. Love how you've put it all together. Wow!
