Hello Friends and Happy 4th of July!
I am so excited to have been asked to guest design today for the Cheapo Die Blog and I have a fun card to share that is fitting for our USA holiday! It's such a fun die that I just HAD TO HAVE it!! Everyone who knows me knows that I am a Flip Flop Fanatic! LOL Hope you like my card and be sure to check out the Cheapo Die Company. What a fabulous selection at VERY reasonable prices.
Here's what my flip flops looked like cut from the die. I used red card stock for the striped one and white card stock for the one with the stars, then used my Spectrum Noir TB5 alcohol marker to color it blue.
Since the each die is for a certain foot (left or right), I simply cut 2 then flipped one over to make a pair. Next I adhered each one to a scrap piece of white card stock and fussy cut around them.
My background paper is Old, Old, Old and I think probably from JoAnn's.
The sentiment was computer generated then die cut using a banner die. I had accidentally die cut the star flip flop from red card stock initially then realized it was the wrong color so it was laying on the work table and I snipped one of the stars off of it to use at the start of my sentiment ... PERFECT!!
Thanks Cheapo Dies for having me guest design today!
