DIGI FUN and a C.J. Update

Hello Everyone!

First let me begin with an update on my granddaughter Morgan's friend C.J. who had a very serious car accident nearly 2 weeks ago.

C.J. was moved out of ICU on Saturday and into his own room.  They have removed the pick line and all IV lines.  He is eating solid food and they even had him sitting up for a short while.  C.J. is obviously a very determined young man to progress as well as he has in this short period of time considering the severity of his injuries.  He hopes to have the neck brace removed over the Easter weekend but he will have the Pelvis brace & pins for at least 6 weeks.  They said he wasn't allowed to walk to 3 months ... to give his pelvis time to heal properly.  He still has a tremendous amount of pain and he's doing the best he can to deal with it so as not to require any more pain medication than necessary.  Prayers are being answered and his family thanks you for that!!

Okay ... now on to Digi Card Creation Fun ... (click on any image for a larger view)

PENNY of Creations By Penny has come out with some new images lately and the following are the creations I've designed for her use over on her store blog.  These four cards use images from her Spring Bundle.  Be sure to pop over and check it out ... fun digis for the upcoming spring/summer season.
On each of these card, I tried to use minimal accessories ... wanting to bring the main focus to these adorable images.  I just LOVE this watermelon designer paper ... couldn't ask for an easier card to create!!

How about this cutie?  This image set is called "Bad Day" ... I'm not sure what Penny had in mind when she used the phrase "Wish You Were Here" in conjunction with a little girl on the pottie ... but hey ... it's still cute! LOL!!

Two more Creations By Penny cards to share with you today.  Sorry for the long posting but I just had to share these cute, new images with you all.  The creation on the left uses an image called "Flower Branch" and the creation on the right is an image called "Heart Flower".  Both creations utilize SU & Anna Griffin designer papers.

Thanks for allowing me to share these fun digis with you.  I hope you will pay Penny a visit and see all the other fun digis she has to offer!  Have a great day!

Thank you. I'm looking forward to crafting again soon. I'm sure I will be "stealing" lots of your ideas.
