HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!
Yesterday, after finally breaking down and going to the Minute Clinic to find out why I still have this horrible cough, (turns out to be allergies and a sinus infection), I put together two quick birthday cards using two watercolor panels I had created over the past couple of days and were just BEGGING to be used!
I can't get over how quick, easy & fun creating background panels using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks can be. If I didn't stop myself, all my cards would have a background like these! LOL
I also decided to use the same Die'sire die cut (DS-EDG-HAP) for both cards, just simply used a larger white card stock panel for one vs the other. The balloons on the card above were die cut from the Elizabeth Craft 'Balloons' set (#ECD-726) and Nuvo White Crystal Drops were added to the corners.
The card below was created very similarly. But by using a larger white panel I felt it needed a little something so I die cut the Poppystamps 'Petal Ribbon' #1414 from a scrap of the same watercolor panel and positioned across the bottom. That was the only addition and I think it's perfect! This card literally took me 5 minutes to put together, once I had the watercolor panel created & dried of coure.
