Hello Friends & Happy Saturday!
I've been so busy lately with mowing my yard & mom's that I haven't taken the time to join in any of the challenges offered out there in Blogland so since it's raining today I thought I'd take a few minutes and have some fun crafting!
Here's a card I created to share in a couple of challenge blogs ...
and
I have used Tim Holtz Distressed Oxide Inks to create my background then using Versafine Onyx ink for my stamping. The stamps I have used for the scene are very old ...
Flourishes (no longer in business) - Beach Life
and the sentiment comes from a Stampendous set called Seaside Chair (circa 2014)
BUT, for my Happy Birthday sentiment I have used a new stamp die set from Pretty Pink Posh ...
that just came in the mail yesterday ... happy happy!
I had used the largest die from the Tutti Designs Scalloped Stitched Nesting Ovals die set for my
scenic panel so sponged some TH Black Soot ink around the edge to act as a matting panel.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I hope you're having a FABULOUS weekend!!
So gorgeous and peaceful with that hammock under the trees looking so inviting.
ReplyDeleteBrining on the sunshine my way with this fabulous card. Hope all ends soon with mum's estate....big hugs.xxx

Such a great reminder to just sit back and enjoy, leave all the troubles of the world behind. Pretty sponging, you have blended the colors so well!
ReplyDeleteSummer moments are at a premium at my house, too, just because there are so many different things to do! Love the shading and the sentiment on this, and I love the whole idea of taking a moment to rest my eyes, especially in a hammock between two palms!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card and gorgeous background for your summer scene! So glad you joined us at CAS on Friday.
