Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!
We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog
and the TWIST theme is 'SENTIMENT AS FOCUS'. Remember, the twist is optional
but you MUST use an embossing folder on our projects to qualify for the
prize. Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with
an embossing folder.
Today, I have used a Quick Kutz Frame embossing folder (dry embossing) then added my Inkadinkado birthday sentiment using Versamark watermark stamping ink & Moon Glow embossing powder then heat set it (wet embossing).
I
haven't wet embossed in literally years and must confess not very good
at it ... always make a boo boo somewhere along the line as I did today
... hence the Nuvo white crystal drops to hide that mistake.
Talk about a fast birthday card! WOW why have I waited so long??
I do hope you'll come check out our new blog and play along.
AND yep ... we will be offering prizes at our challenges ... that's always a fun surprise!
Here's today's prize offering . . .
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
I appreciate it more than you'll ever know!!
As always . . .
Your Cas card is so very nice and it does not need more...

Such a beautiful CAS style card Darlene! Thanks for inspiring me to pull out my EFs more! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so elegant, Darlene. I love the dry embossing, and if you made a mistake with the heat embossing, then you covered it like a pro! It's perfect. A gorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, that folder is so elegant and works perfectly for such a nice CAS design!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful CAS card and I think your heat embossing looks great, I heat embossed a couple times a few days ago and forgot to use my EB powder on my surface before I embossed, it had been so long I had forgotten about it lol!! It does make a big difference!!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for Nuvo drops and things like that, but you would never know there was a boo boo to cover in the first place. Your sentiment is beautifully framed with the embossed oval. It's very liberating to make such a beautiful CAS card!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, I love it's simplicity. The white really makes that red greeting pop, just gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful design and projects, love the colours and images used x
