Here's a fun inspiration board we've created to help get you started ...
If my husband wasn't such a 'traditional' holiday color decorator, I would do my tree in white & gold like this ... so rich looking! But I also enjoy all the traditional color/decorating we both grew up with.
Here I've pulled out a few older dies to create with today ...

12 x 12 Glitter Paper from the Dollar Store
I die cut the sentiment twice and adhered them together for depth. A green tombow marker and a water brush were used to add a touch of color to the veins of the leaves.
