Spring has sprung!

At least that's what the calendar says!!  LOL

Morning All . . .

Yesterday was a BEAUTIFUL day with sunshine warms and cool breezes ... I even did some outside racking & flower bed cleaning but today's a different day with rain & gloomy skies!  They are even predicting SNOW this evening ... Good Grief!!  BUT, that is Springtime in N.E. Ohio, USA!  LOL

I took this photo yesterday ... (before it gets beat down with snow).

I spotted a few fun challenges that I'd like to play in so I created this card of Springtime Inspiration.

I've used an older Darice 'brick wall' embossing folder for my background.  After embossing it onto a Stampin' Up 'Wild Wasabi' card stock panel, I sponged a little TH distress oxide inks over top for added dimension.  My focus image is a 'birdhouse' topper from Ecstacy Crafts

My sentiment is a die from Frantic Stamper.

I have a few birdhouses that hubby has made for me though out my flower gardens and feeders closer into the wooded/picnic area.  I can't wait to see all the birds fluttering around them again this spring/summer!

Well, it's time for me to get to the gym!  YES, I've been going to the gym walking everyday in hopes of building up my endurance for all the walking we will be doing on our European vacation this summer.  Wish me luck!  LOL

Thanks for stopping by ...

As always,

  1. This is so perfect for springtime and beautifully made. Love the wonderful details on the image.
Mother Nature is surely confused. Last night we received the 2nd snowfall within a week. Last Friday it was in the 80's, then snow on Sunday and again last night. I feel like we had all 4 seasons within a week LOL. It does look so pretty this morning with the sun shining onto the snow and a crisp blue sky, but I am ready for some real spring weather!! Hope your pretty flowers will not get too much damage. Those daffodils are gorgeous!
So great to see you at the first Garden party!

  2. Oh! A fabulously gorgeous topper with the brick wall behind it! Roadside daffodils have been blooming for days along our street. If they were in my garden the deer would probably eat them. They don't leave me much anymore.
