Double D - Birds

 

 Hello Dear Friends!

It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
 
Here's today's theme:
 
BIRDS
 
and here's an inspiration board created to help get you started . . .
 
 
 
 Over the past few years, I've been collecting the Hearty Crafts 'Easy 3D Toppers' I spotted in one of the booths at the annual Adventures in Stamping convention that comes to Akron each April.  I just LOVE these things  ... they make such a beautiful, quick & easy card.  This convention is not like it used to be pre-covid ... there are far fewer vendors so I'm hoping I can still find them again this year and stock up!


My background paper is a Brutus Monroe pack called Cherry Blossom from Scrapbook.com. 
 
 
 
 To showcase my topper, I have used parts of the Sue Wilson 'Australian Collection' (CED2204) die set.

 
 A few Nuvo crystal drops and my card is complete!

    How fun that you have a craft show come near you. The bird die is beautiful and I adore the colorful background you gave him. The frame is fabulous as well. Loved this brilliant bird challenge!

    I'm admiring all the parts of this and thinking what beautiful things you have! The bird is the star, of course, but I also love the pretty frame and the fabulous Brutus Monroe paper. A lot sure changed after COVID. I know how you enjoyed those conventions.
