Can You Handle the Pressure - Twist - Food and/or Drink

Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!

We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog and the TWIST theme is ...

Food and/or Drink

Remember, the twist is optional but you MUST use an embossing folder on your projects to qualify for the prize.  Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with an embossing folder.

Here's what I've created to inspire you today.

For the background on today's card, I have used an old Embossalicious 'Petite Dots' embossing folder.  My 'food element' is an Elizabeth Craft 'Strawberry' die set (#1777).  After die cutting the pieces and coloring with my Tombow markers, I punched a small circle to use as the base to create my strawberry focus then adhered to my card front.

My sentiment is by Penny Black (circa 2006).  I've used the same red Tombow marker as I used on the strawberries for my stamping then die cut using a Sue Wilson stitched flag die.

I do hope you'll come check out our challenge blog and play along.

  2. There you go with those most amazing strawberries again! You inspired me to search them out and add to my collection, and then I went on a fruit die search, but there's not a whole lot of choices in fruit dies. Anyway... I love your arrangement on the clean white dotty background, and the sentiment stamped in red looks so pretty, too! I'll be glad to be done with Christmas cards, sigh.
