Hello Dear Friends
It's a new month and that means it's time for a new challenge over on our
LOVE THOSE PRETTY PAPERS blog.
Today, our OPTIONAL theme is
POLKA DOTS
Diane & I
will be sharing a Themed pretty paper card as well as an Anything
Goes card.
Here's my card using today's THEME:
I decided to use polka dot papers from both the Echo Park Dots & Stripes (yellow) pack and the Scrapbookcustoms.com Rainbow Plaid (blue ) paper pack to create the background, after choosing to use this pretty hummingbird topper from the Hearty Crafts 'Hummingbirds (HC12970)' 3D Topper pack.
Here's a peek at the inside:
A Tutti Designs 'Scalloped Stitched Rectangle' die was used as the matting panel behind this pretty topper. The sentiment is a stamp & die set from the TON.
Now for my 2nd card (anything goes) ...

Both cards are beautiful with the pretty papers, fabulous designs and love the fancy fold on the second card, it really showcases our challenge perfectly with the great design!!
ReplyDeleteYour blue and yellow polka dot papers go perfectly with the hummingbird topper. A perfect color match and a gorgeous card! As for your second card, I love a red/white/green combo and your ladybug paper is so CUTE! The cool fold gives lots of opportunity to play with the fun patterns. This card makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun and cheerful Z-fold card! I love how you leaned into something “off the beaten path”—it really paid off. The ladybug papers are adorable, and the stitched scallop rectangle adds such a lovely touch to the inside. Isn’t it refreshing to switch up the card style now and then? Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with us at Cut It Up!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty cards, Darlene! They make me anticipate some warmer temperatures after the Arctic weather we've had. Your "you make me smile" Z-fold card really showcases the beautiful papers! Thank you for participating in the Creative Creases Challenge! We hope you can join us again soon. Your support is greatly appreciated!
