Hello Dear Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Here's today's theme:
Book / Bookmark / Stamps
and here's an inspiration board created to help get you started . . .
WOW! Now here is something I never thought to create but what a great idea! Thanks Diane!!
Today I went with Bookmarks ... using the same Paper Rose 'Dear Isabella' paper pack and a few little goodies from my stash like the Prima flowers & silk butterflies. I also used two of my OLD Martha Stewart butterfly punches (for the bookmark in the center). The base was created using the old Cheery Lynn Designs (no longer in business) 'Fishtail Banner' largest die in the set.
Here are individual images so you can click on each one to see it closer/larger if you'd like.
You'll want to be sure to pop over to the Double D Challenge Blog to see all the details and amazing samples offered up by our VERY TALENTED design team ladies!!

These are so creatively beautiful, I loved them as soon as I saw them in our lineup and now of course I have bookmarks on my 'to do' list!!
ReplyDeleteLovely collection of pretty bookmarks! The colors and butterfly make me think Spring. Nothing better than a bookmark for the "in your hands" good old fashion book which is my favorite kind of read. Love the lacy detailed edges!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous and you have picked the most prettiest papers in all the land! Really fabulous! I must make some!
ReplyDeleteLook what you did with these pretty papers. Your bookmarks are delightful and I know you love the color purple. This is a great take on our challenge, and it was a fun one too.
ReplyDeleteYou have some very pretty lacy-edged bookmarks here, Darlene! IMO a person can never have too many, especially if you have real books, recipe books, reference books, whatever.
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous, that banner die works perfectly for bookmarks, the papers are wonderful and you have embellished them so pretty with your flowers and butterflies!
ReplyDeleteI just realized I never commented on these lovely creations, thought I had. So sorry. I have had some stuff going on that's distracting me. I love this so much, you have nailed the challenge perfectly!!! Using that pretty banner die really steps these up a notch.
