Neglected Stuff (8/2026)

 Hello friends!

Today I have a project to share that was created for our newest
NEGLECTED STUFF CHALLENGE.

 The Neglected Stuff I've used today are this Heartfelt Creations 'Lush Lilac & Umbrella Spray' stamp set, my OLD OLD Creative Memories 'corner rounder' and the Tutti Designs 'Dotted Nesting Circle' dies.

 

   

The designer paper used is by Paper Rose called 'Dear Isabella Patterns' and coloring was done with Tombow markers.  Nuvo crystals drops were used for the flower centers and the corner embellishment.

Neglected Stuff (7/2026)

Today I have a project to share that was created for our newest
NEGLECTED STUFF CHALLENGE.

My Neglected Stuff used today are my odd shaped dies ... here I've used Tutti Designs Cross Stitch Nesting Hexagons and my ladybug stuff (papers, stickers, felt adhesives). 

 

I've die cut various sizes from this die set to create today's design and the paper & sentiment panel are from an Echo Park 6x6 pad called 'Little Ladybug'.

 

   

When it comes to using my nesting dies, I always seem to reach for the basic shapes ... Circle, Rectangle, Oval or Square.  I have many others but rarely think to use them.  Well, today's the day!  LOL

Neglected Stuff (6/2026)

 Today's NEGLECTED item is my collection of border PUNCHES!  
And shamefully, they are truly neglected!

Once I started using the MANY dies I own, my punches were forgotten.

 

For today's card I started out with some (also neglected) Ken Oliver 6x6 'watercolored memories' designer paper.  After cutting two strips, I punched each strip using the Martha Stewart 'floral vine' punch and added a Simon Says Stamps sympathy sentiment in the center.  VIOLA!

 

 

 

Doesn't get much easier than that and look how pretty!!!

Neglected Stuff (5/2026)

 Hello friends!

Today I have a project to share that was created for our newest
NEGLECTED STUFF CHALLENGE.

The primary neglected item used today is this pretty K&Co dimensional sticker.

 

    

As you can see, I had used a few along the way but then totally forgot I had this pack!
So today I chose to use the sticker in the upper left corner for my card.   The smaller image is what the original pack looked like and there are still a few places like EBay where you might find it.  The name is Susan Winget Botanical Purple Floral Flowers Grand Adhesions Stickers by K&Company.

 

My background paper is very old and probably purchased through JoAnn Fabrics 10 years ago (I have a LOT of old 12x12 floral papers ... call it an addiction if you must lol).  I've used a scrap of purple card stock,  a Tutti Designs die cut for the floral backing and a sentiment that was laying on my work table left over from another project.   Purple Nuvo crystal drops were used as an accent.

Neglected Stuff (4/2026)

Today I have a project to share that was created for our newest
NEGLECTED STUFF CHALLENGE.

The neglected items I've used today are these pretty Prima butterflies which have been hanging out on my 'embellishments board' for several years.  I actually think I bought them at Archiver's (we all know how long they've been out of business).

 

 

 

 I've also dipped into my pile of designer paper scraps for my design.  An OLD Cuttlebug embossing folder was used for my background then I simply reached for pink based papers to put together for a design.  The flip side of my sentiment panel is actually the same as the black background/pink roses paper.  I had a couple extra punch out sentiments laying on my work table so instead of stamping a sentiment I grabbed one of them to use ... VIOLA.

Neglected Stuff (3/2026)

Today I have a project to share that was created for our newest
NEGLECTED STUFF CHALLENGE.

 The Neglected Stuff used on my card is the Anna Griffin 'Flower Bramble' cut & emboss die which I colored using Tombow markers while it was still in the die.  Then I die cut 2 more and adhered them together for dimension.  

 

 

My ribbon stash, of which I have a ton of, is very neglected ...rarely used anymore!

 

I also used an old Embossalicious 'Petite Dot' embossing folder which I sponged over with the residual ink left in one of my sponge daubers.     

 

A sentiment from the TON and my card is complete.

 The Neglected Stuff used today consists of:

 

An image from a very old Nellie's Choice Cutting Sheet called 'Vintage Waiting' (circa 2012).  I have SEVERAL of these vintage styled images in a drawer and even though I don't do a lot of vintage styled cards these days, it was nice to bring them out and go through them ... I think I see more vintage cards in my (near) future.

Neglected Stuff

 WOW!  I'm really digging into the archives for today's goodies to play with!

 

How many of you still have this gizmo?  (crimper)

 

 I ran the upper portion of my The Paper Boutique 'Winter Wonders' designer paper to give the 'snowy sky' more texture.  As a divider I added a strip of the Tim Holtz 'Symphony' Tissue Tape (I might have to toss this product ... it's so thin and the adhesive on it is giving me trouble.)  Took me 15 minutes just to peel off that little portion to use on my card!

 

 After tearing a strip of scrap white card stock to create my snowy ground, I peeled and attached these little guys from my sheet of Anita's Art Stamps 'Outline Stickers'.  Once in place, I did a little coloring using Tombow markers.

Neglected Stuff

 My Neglected Stuff are the Ken Oliver 'Color Burst' powders that I used to create the paper used for my Fall Leaves which are die cut using VERY OLD Spellbinders dies.  My background paper is a 6x6 pad from Pink & Main called 'Sweater Weather'.  Unfortunately this paper has been discontinued.

 

     

 

 

 It's been so long since I have used these Color Bursts, it took me a minute to remember how they worked!  LOL but I did figure it out (not really that hard) and created this panel.

 

 Even though these Spellbinder die leaves are old as the hills . . . they still cut nice and worked exactly as I had in mind for today's card.

Neglected Stuff

Today I have a project to share that was created for our newest
NEGLECTED STUFF CHALLENGE.

 Here's what I've created for you today using some of my 'neglected stuff'.

 

 The VERY neglected item I used today are two different colors of
Dylusions Ink Spray ... Vibrant Turquoise & Crushed Grape. 
I simply sprayed my white card stock panel then blotted it with a scrap of printer paper.

 

  

 

 I also have several beautiful Altenew stamp & die sets that I don't use nearly often enough.  So today I stamped off the Statement Flowers stamp and after choosing somewhat coordinating Tombow markers, I started water coloring my image.  Once dry, I die cut using the coordinating die for this stamp and added a couple sentiments from the same stamp set.

 

Here's a thought!
I bet I could have sprayed these inks on my work mat and used them for my coloring!  Hmmmm ... I'll have to give that a try!! Duh!
