Hello friends and Happy Sunday!
Yesterday when I should have been catching up on some DT work,
I spent most of the day JUST PLAYING AROUND!
I think we all need to do that from time to time just to keep it interesting!! LOL
And besides ... it's one of my good friends fault (you know who you are, lol)
for introducing me to and inspiring me to do stenciling with more than just
ink and a sponge dauber. I'm talking about texture paste and reinker.
Here's the outcome of my playtime . . .
Yep ... pretty cool ... I'll be doing this technique more often I'm sure!
As you can see, I'm STILL working on using up some of those Heartfelt Creations die cut flowers from last years convention demo. It's actually pretty nice to have so many sitting around already cut just waiting for me to choose the color I want to use and shaping them.
Obviously, my color today is purple (my favorite). Actually it's Tim Holtz 'wilted violet' distress ink. I've used the reinker to color my paste (although my camera insists on making it look blue) and a sponge/ink to color around the outside edge of my background panel. Of course I've sponged my flowers with the same ink color as well as my tag sentiment.
Challenges to share in today are:

I hope YOU are doing something FUN today!
