Nothing better ...

... than snuggling up in front of the fireplace
with a cup of Hot Chocolate with lots of whipped creme!

Good Afternoon All!
I have an extremely busy week ahead of me and I didn't want to miss out on playing along at least one time with the amazing blog hop going on over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog.

So many amazing sponsors and inspiration!  WOW!!

I decided to use the Elizabeth Craft Hot Chocolate die set for my focus.

Elizabeth Craft Design - Dies - Hot Chocolate

A touch of sparkle was added using Diamond Stickles
and the background circle was highlighted using Nuvo White Crystals Drops.

It's Fussy and Fancy Time ...

Hello Everyone!
It's time once again for a new challenge over at the
Today's theme was chosen by our very talented Gina, and our theme is . . .

WINTER / CHRISTMAS

Here's my creation . . .

This time around I went with WINTER.  I am in need of
more Christmas cards but I thought it would be fun to stray away
for a bit and have a little wintertime fun.

My background paper comes from the Carta Bella 'A Very
Merry Christmas' 6x6 paper pack.  My snow mounds was created
by simply tearing a scrap of white card stock then adding a
touch of 'waterfall' Stickles for the sparkle.

Dies used were:

Elizabeth Craft 'Brrr'

Elizabeth Craft Designs - Dies - Brrrrr

Precious Marieke 'Icicles'

Precious Marieke - Dies - Icicles

 Marianne 'Snowman' (LR0246)

I die cut the sentiment 3 times and glued them together for dimension.
Mr. Snowman was cut twice and adhered together also.

I hope you've enjoy today's share and will come join in our challenge fun!  See you there!

Merry Christmas!

Hello Friends!

I'm back again for a second post today
and just getting in under the wire on sharing a card
over on the current challenge for the PowerPoppy Challenge Blog
which is a TicTacToe inspiration board.

I'm happy to say I got in on their Cyber Monday Deal
(after being enabled by the amazing Leslie Miller ... lol)
and purchased their Holiday Digital Blitz Bundle  ... AWESOME!!
Be sure to pop over to PowerPoppy and check out their images ... they are AMAZING!

Here's the board ...
I've used the diagonal Red, DieCut, Green

The image I have used is from the Mittens And Merriment set
and the sentiment is from the Filigree Tree set.
I've combined them together, printed them out and colored them
with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and ZIG markers.

Hunkydory - Moonstone Dies - Let It Snow

I hope you're having as much fun creating holiday cards as I am!
Have a great day and upcoming weekend!

From Our House to Yours!

Hello friends!
Today I'm playing along with the new challenge over on the Back to Basics and Beyond
Challenge Blog where their theme is to Stamping or Coloring On Vellum.

I don't use think to use this technique often enough so thought it would be fun to join in!  I ALWAYS love seeing cards using this technique and I had a lot of fun creating today's card.  Hope you like it!

For my focus image, I've used a very old Stampendous stamp
called 'Christmas Truck'.  I've stamped it onto vellum using
Versafine Onyx ink then embossed it with detail clear embossing powder.
Then did the coloring on the backside using Spectrum
Noir alcohol marker and ZIG marker.

I have used the Memory Box 'Shaker Square Frames' (#30030)
for my framing but decided NOT to actually make a shaker card.
Instead I chose to just let the background paper show through.

My accent Winter Corner die is by
Jeanine's Art - Winter Classics

Jeanine's Art - Dies - Winter Classics - Winter Corner

'From Our House to Yours' (#CEDME016)
I've die cut it twice (once white, once black) then off set them to
create a shadow effect.

A bit of sparkle was added to the snowflake corner using Diamond Stickles.

I hope you've enjoy today's card share.

Sisterhood of Crafters - Stitched Dies

Hello All...
it's time once again for a new challenge over

And, the theme is:

STITCHED DIES

The stitched die I chose to use today is the

Memory Box - Dies - Countryside Fence Frame

I've saved the larger piece that popped out of the die
and used Tim Holtz broken china distress ink
to create the background sky.
Instead of coloring all those little piece that popped out
between the fence posts, I took a scrap of white
card stock, inked it the same and attached it over
top of the upper panel from the back.

My cute little deer is from the

Karen Burniston - Dies - Christmas Animals

and my sentiment comes from the

Hunkydory - Moonstone Dies - A Holly Jolly Christmas

I love how this frame die cuts in 3 different square panels!
That gives you more flexibility in design although today
I chose to use all three panels together.

Spectrum Noir alcohol markers were used to color
my deer and Stickles was used for the accents ...
red for the Christmas hat and diamond for the snow in the sky.

I do hope you'll come join in this fun challenge and

Flowers for You!

Hello Friends
Today I'm sharing another fun creation
using dies from the Cheapo Dies Store.

Today I'm using up scraps and bringing
full focus to this beautiful Cheapo die called

I have die cut this flower THREE times
then glued them together for dimension.

Hand doodling was added around the outside edge of my base card
and I've used a few rectangular panels that were just begging
to be used from my work table.   A few Nuvo drops were added
as an accent.

By using this beautiful flower as the focus,
my card could be used for a variety of occasions!

Here's a listing of their store, blog & FB links to help you get familiar:

Double D - Snuggle Up Buttercup!

Hello Dear Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
I'm hosting today and as you can see by my blog title ... the theme is

SNUGGLE UP BUTTERCUP
(think Warm & Cozy!)

Here's the mood board I've created to help inspire you . . .

My first thought was a warm fuzzy sweater or blanket and of course it has to be plaid! LOL

I just happen to have some awesome plaid papers
and fun dies to create exactly what I had in my mind ... hope you like it!!

The design papers I've used are from a Carta Bella called 'Cabin Fever'
and my sweater die is from Elizabeth Craft - Winter Sweater.

Elizabeth Craft Designs - Dies - Winter Sweater

The sentiment 'Cozy' die is also Elizabeth Craft

Elizabeth Craft Designs - Dies - Cozy

and the beautiful snow flake corner die
is part of a Sue Wilson Festive Collection Snowflake set ( #CED 3019.)

For the snowflake panel I've die cut the square using
Tutti Designs 'Cross Stitched Nesting Squares'.
