Winter Cheer . . .

Hello dear friends!

I'm in need of JUST A FEW MORE holiday cards
so while watching the British Holiday Backoff
on Netflix, I created this fun card.
Hope you like it!

I recently purchased this die set from the Dies R Us Store

Memory Box - Dies - Country Church Frame

Memory Box has sever other frame dies such as this one
so be sure to check out what's available.  I actually
ordered a few others that I will hopefully have time to play
with and share with you in the near future.

After die cutting the entire die from white card stock, I colored
the church and added holiday Stickles to the trees.
While those were drying, I created my background using a panel
of white watercolor paper and a few Tim Holtz Oxide Distress Inks.
Of course, the spritz of water quickly picked up with a paper towel
created a lovely snowy appearance.

Other dies I have used are:

Penny Black - Dies - Winter Cheer
Sue Wilson (Festive Collection)
'Snowflake Background'
#CED3018

I decided to leave the one die cut circle off my design
so the background would show through a little more.
My sentiment die is an 'all in one die' but I decided
to do a bit of fussy cutting and make it two parts.

Challenges to share in:
Take a Word Challenge - Blue & White
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Anything Goes Winter or Christmas

Well that's it for me today!
Busy week ahead and big neighborhood party on Sunday!

Take care, stay safe and enjoy each day!
As always . . .

  2. I love watching the British Bake Off. I still wonder how they measure by weight. I guess it's all in how you were taught.
