Getting Busy!

Hello my friends and Happy Sunday!!

Every year my family has a 3 day reunion (large family lol) and last year
we decided to do a 50/50 raffle and a gift basket auction.  They
were both a huge hit so we are doing it again this year.

Of course I offered up a basket full of my greeting cards along with
tissue box covers, tea booklets, etc., etc.  I've offered up the same
this year but I am running out of time!  Yikes! It's the last
weekend of this month and I'm JUST NOW getting started on my cards.

Here is the first group of cards I will box up for in the basket . . .

This set of cards were actually created by repurposing cards I received in the mail from companies we make contributions to.  A few weeks ago I gathered up a ton of cards that we've received and gave them to my mom's church.  Now more are beginning to pour in and I decided to repurpose a few to use for the reunion.

Here are a few individual photos . . .

I've used my own background designer paper, die cut the image & sentiment from the repurposed card.  Then, for added dimension, added a few touches of purple Stickles in the corners.

For this one, I once again used my own background designer paper and a strip of burlap.

I had a little fun with this image by die cutting it from two different sized dies
(from the same set) and intertwining them.  The Tutti Designs sentiment was also die cut from the same image.  Background paper is from my stash.

How sweet is this image?
I've used my own background paper and simply did a bit of fussy cutting from the repurposed image.

Going to be a beautiful weather day and want to get outside later and do some apple tree trimming (getting too low to mow under) and some weed wacking but while the dew dries up, I will get busy making more cards for this event.   Guess I need to find/buy the basket I'm going to use so I know just how many cards and such I need before I get carried away!  LOL

Have a great day!

As always . . .
