Sisterhood of Crafters - Use Dies

Hello dear friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over

Our hostess today is Terri and the theme she has chosen is:
Use DIES

Here's what I have to share ...
Inside
The dies I have used today are:

Frantic Stamper - Dies - Farm Scene Card Panel
Elizabeth Craft Designs - Dies - Thinking Of You
Since this card was created as part of a gift set for an Amish girl, I thought
the farm scene was appropriate and I've left plenty of room for her to
write a personal note inside.
Here's a peek at how I colored & pieced my card . . .

I die cut my scene twice.
On the first cut I colored in the pop out pieces that are the
sky and grassy areas.
On the second cut I popped out all the pieces then attached
my 'outline' to another sheet of white card stock
so I would have a place to reinsert & adhere my popped out (colored) pieces.
Some of my colored pieces weren't cut well so I reinserted
my die cut panel into the die and ran it through again.  THEN I began
gluing each piece into the appropriate spot.
My coloring was done with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun at The Sisterhood of Crafters!
My 'sistahs' have created some fabulous creations to help inspire you ...
be sure to pop over and check them out!

  1. This is a great fly over state scene. It's always beautiful when you're flying and can see these farms everywhere across certain parts of certain states. A lovely car and a great die. [Bunny]
