Tutti Designs - 'Seas' the day!

Hello Friends!
Today I have a card to share for the Tutti Designs Store and they have some wonderful 'Sea' themed dies and that's the mood I was in today!  What's your mood today?  Simply go to the store, type in the theme you have in mind in the Search box and see what they have to offer.  By simply using two dies today I have a card that will be perfect to send to my sister when she returns to her home in FL.  What do you think?

The dies I've used are:

Using markers for my coloring, I've tried to mimic the beautiful colors of the coral.  After all was said and done, I thought I probably should have colored my fish blue or purple or something that would have stood out more than the yellow but it still looks wonderful I think (especially in person vs photos).

My background water is a panel of inexpensive design paper and I've added a bit of diamond stickles on the tips of the coral for a touch of underwater sparkle.

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store and check out all of the fabulous dies available. Need more inspiration?  The team has something new to share on the Tutti Designs Blog  EVERY DAY MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY!

Pop in often and see for yourself ... what a talented group of designers!!

Find A Few Moments . . .

Hello Friends & Happy Saturday!

I've been so busy lately with mowing my yard & mom's that I haven't taken the time to join in any of the challenges offered out there in Blogland so since it's raining today I thought I'd take a few minutes and have some fun crafting!

Here's a card I created to share in a couple of challenge blogs ...

and

I have used Tim Holtz Distressed Oxide Inks to create my background then using Versafine Onyx ink for my stamping.  The stamps I have used for the scene are very old ...

Flourishes (no longer in business) - Beach Life
and the sentiment comes from a Stampendous set called Seaside Chair (circa 2014)

BUT, for my Happy Birthday sentiment I have used a new stamp die set from Pretty Pink Posh ...
that just came in the mail yesterday ... happy happy!
Simple Sentiments Stamp Set

Stitched Strips Dies

I had used the largest die from the Tutti Designs Scalloped Stitched Nesting Ovals die set for my
scenic panel so sponged some TH Black Soot ink around the edge to act as a matting panel.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I hope you're having a FABULOUS weekend!!

Hello dear friends!
Today's card for the Tutti Designs Store was created using a few dies and the CAS (clean and simple) design style.  Quick, easy and can be used for a variety of occasions.  Be sure to pop over and check out what Tutti has to offer!

 Dies used today are:

After die cutting the Butterfly Medallion from a scrap of designer paper, I fussy cut the butterfly away from the center of the heart.  I again cut from a scrap of black card stock to use for the butterfly body, fussy cut it as well then hand drew the antennas and flight stream.

Double D - Wedding

Hello Dear Friends!

It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
I'm happy to say I am hosting today's challenge and today's theme is:

WEDDING

The design team ladies have come up with some amazing designs for your inspiration, be sure to pop over and check 'em out!  Speaking of inspiration ... here's the mood board I created ... hope it helps to inspire you!

 Here's todays creation . . .

I've obviously drawn inspiration from the top left corner of the mood board.
This card came together VERY quickly ... two die cuts and Viola!

I let this Cheery Lynn Designs 'Wedding Vows' Frame die (FRM138) do all the heavy lifting!  My card is A6 in size.  My couple little embellishments are the Marianne 'Tiny Love Birds' (LR0298) which I die cut several times and glued together before die cutting just the ribbon/heart from red card stock for a touch of color.  Believe it or not, I had this sweet little red satin bow hanging around so of course I had to add it to the top ... PERFECT finishing touch don't you think?

Inside View

We have this fabulous Sue Wilson Designs - Mini Expressions - On Your Wedding Day die offered as the prize to one lucky random winner.  Remember ... you gotta play to win!
