Here's this months inspiration board ...
I love this rich color ... it really pops with the black & white!
Here's what I've come up with using a VERY old wooden block stamp & Tombow markers.
I had this card base sitting on the work table just waiting to be used and I thought it would be perfect to showcase this beautiful cardinal. I've used the Cottage Cutz 'Nested Wacky Stitched Square' die set (CCB-072) for my matting and a Pink Fresh' Perfect Sentiments word sentiment.
Remember, our challenge begins on the 3rd of each month, ends on the last day of the month and Winner's are announced on the 2nd of each month.

ReplyDeleteThanks Kate! I fussy cut around his tail feathers then slipped the die UNDER his tail when I cut out the square he was stamped on. That way it did NOT cut through his tail and it could hang over.

ReplyDeleteThis card is quite impressive with that gorgeous cardinal and I love how it's tail spills over the edge giving such a dramatic look. The woodgrain background is fantastic with those die-cut border frames as well. Simply gorgeous!!
