*NEW* Neglected Stuff Challenge (2/25)

 Hello Friends!

Yep ... Diane & I are at it again and have another new challenge blog to share with you for 2025.

This time around we are showcasing all those loved but NEGLECTED crafting goodies we all have sitting around in our studios.

Here's what I came up with for our first challenge . . .

My NEGLECTED item today is this sheet of 3D decoupage die-cuts by Dufex Craft Products that I've had in my stash for probably 10 years.  I have an entire folder full of these sheets so you'll be seeing more projects using them in the months to come.

This is one of those sheets that you pop out the already cut pieces and layer them up to create your finished image.  There are two different images on this particular sheet and it's foiled card stock.

I don't always use dimensional tape between the layers.  Sometimes, I simply glue the pieces together, depending on how thick the cut outs are and if I have thin enough dimensional tape.

And sometimes, I'll use the dimensional tape between #1 and #2 and NOT use it on the #3 panel.  Just depends how thick it's getting to be.  You still want to try and keep it as a SINGLE STAMP card if you can, especially with the price of postage these days!!

I have the 2nd image on this sheet put together and held for another day.  Decided to do them both since I'm always afraid of loosing one of the die cut pieces lol.

I do hope you'll pop over and check out our latest challenge blog adventure and don't forget, ALL our challenge blogs are listed in the sidebar of each challenge blog as well as here on my personal blog.  There's a variety so I'm sure you'll find something you might enjoy playing along in.

As always ...

Triple B (2/25) Challenge

   Hello Friends!

Have you checkout our challenge blog called TRIPLE B?
It's all about using any of your stash but your project must have at least a BIRD, a BUTTERFLY or BLOOMS (flowers) visible on it.  Hence the title Triple B.

Here's this months inspiration board ...

Here's what I've come up with . . .

I've had this Simon Says Stamp 'Vintage Garden' in my stash for awhile now and FINALLY got around to inking it up.

Unfortunately, these days I'm always in need of sympathy cards or have requests for them so that's the direction I went today.  This set has a couple really pretty butterflies so I stamped my floral edge image, a couple butterflies and the sentiment then preceded to color them using my Tombow markers.

I also used one of the butterflies for the inside sentiment but chose not to leave the inside black/white.

Remember, our challenge begins on the 3rd of each month, ends on the last day of the month and Winner's are announced on the 2nd of each month.

I hope you'll come join in the fun!
Thanks for stopping by today!

As always ...
