Anything Christmas at the Sisterhood

 

 Hello my friends!

Today I have a card for the new challenge over on The Sisterhood of Crafters!

 

Our theme today is:

 

Anything CHRISTMAS

 

 

 I just love this old truck! 
Brings back childhood memories of when we (me & my two sisters) would go
with Dad to the back of our property and cut down our Christmas tree and haul
it back home through the woods in the back of Dad's old truck.  Awww fond memories!!

This is an old (circa 2013) wooden block stamp by Stampendous
and I've used Tombow markers for the coloring.
Various colors of Stickles were used for the ornaments and headlights . . .
which added a nice touch of Holiday Sparkle!!

 I've also added White Nuvo drops for the falling snow. 
If you apply them while the ink is still wet, they absorb the ink
color and appear clear when they dry.  

I also added faux stitching and some Christmas Stickles around the frame.
Stickles was also used for the ornaments and headlights.

Today I have a card to share for the new challenge over on the PEACE ON EARTH CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE BLOG.  Of course the theme is Anything Christmas and we hope you'll come join in the fun! 

Here's a fun inspiration board we've created to help get you started ...

 

 I was inspired but the upper right corner image (deer at stream) and I thought this sweet Penny Black image worked perfectly.  I did try to get creative and 'expand' the scene out onto my card base.

 The Penny Black image came from their 'winter dream' premium 3.25 x 4.5  card stock images packet.
