Word Power (3/25) Challenge

  Hello Friends . . .

It's time for a new challenge over on our WORD POWER challenge blog!
Have you check it out yet?  If not, please come join us ... inspiration is welcomed!!

When going through some of the stamps left to me by my friend Doni's family after her passing, I spotted this awesome encouragement sentiment stamp set and was anxious to share it with you all.   The packaging shows it came from Simon Says Stamps but I don't see a number or set name.

The flower stamp I used is also from Simon Says Stamps called Wild & Free Flowers (2026ssc).  I've used Tombow markers for the simple coloring.

Here's a peek at the inside sentiment . . .

You have until the LAST Thursday of the month to enter.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day ahead!

As always . . .

Double D - Going GREEN

 Hello Dear Friends!

It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!

Here's today's theme:

GOING GREEN
(anything GREEN)

and here's an inspiration board created to help get you started . . .

WOW!  Here we are approaching St. Patty's Day already ... it will be grass mowing time again before we know it!  I'm okay with that ... I actually mowing the lawn ... always looks so nice in the spring after a cold, dreary winter.

Anyways ... Diane has a beautiful GREEN based mood board for us today and I just happened to have purchased a new paper pack that is basically green that I haven't torn into yet ... SO, today's the day!

The paper pack I am referring to is the 49 and Market pack called 'Cottagecore' ... sold at Scrapbook.com.  I actually purchased the 6x6 paper pack (which I don't see available at the moment) but they have others from this collection also ... I'll link you to the 6x8 collection  pack seen here.

I had to cut a strip off to achieve the size needed for my A6 card and since this paper is 2 sided, I was able to use that scrap piece to punch a couple corners for the right side of my card which helped to highlight this My Favorite Things sentiment stamp (from my Doni collection).  The sentiment was stamped using Tim Holtz 'Mowed Lawn' distress oxide ink.

You'll want to be sure to pop over to the Double D Challenge Blog to see all the details and amazing samples offered up by our VERY TALENTED design team ladies!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope to see you at Double D!
