Joan's Gardens Challenge #2 and CDAC creations

Hello Everyone!
I hope you've had as nice as day as I have!!  Today I got together with my friend Terri Snode (Cards 'N More) as well as my daughter & grandchildren for a little crafting fun!  The following is PART of what I worked on today ... hope you enjoy!

Joan Fricker (Joans Gardens) began having Thursday challenges last week so that means today is time for Challenge #2.  This week we are to make a "Vintage" creation using at least one Spellbinders Nestability.

The "lock & key" are Spellbinder Shapabilities Timeless Heritage"  (gosh, I hope that qualifies).  The vintage designer paper is actually an RAK from Joan.  The little mice in the shoe is a sticker as is the sentiment.  The vintage flower was cut from musical paper using a die from Tim Holtz.  The flowers were also purchased from Joan Fricker and are from a company in England.

Next is this summertime fun image from Doodle Pantry.  HERE is their community page link.

And lastly is this Michelle Perkette Freebie all done up in pinks & purples.  You can visit Michelle's page HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Don't forget to stop back tomorrow for another fun RAISE THE BAR challenge!  Hope to see you then!

And lastly, this cute little monkey from Paper Addictions.  He doesn't look like he wants to share, does he??  You can see Jackie's community page by clicking HERE.

Boy, I hope the sun is shining where you are today ....
it is a BEAUTIFUL day here in N.E. Ohio!!!

I know you are asking yourself ... then why is she in the house and not outside ... well, I wanted to create a couple of cards to share with you all ... and THEN, I'm headed outdoors to complete my fall cleanup project!!! I'm headed to Indiana this weekend to join in on a fun GET TOGETHER with my friend Joan Fricker of Joan's Gardens has planned and I am SO EXCITED to be going. But I MUST get my chores completed first ... so I'd better be quick about it!!!

My first card was created for the Sketch Challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers. I recently purchased this sleigh image which was created by a local Ohio artist (StacyStamps) and thought it was perfect for today's layout.

Here are the deets on this creation:

Inks: Versafine black
Accessories: Prismacolor Markers, Gold Pilot Marker, Prima flowers & leaves, Creative Imaginations brad, metal ruler, craft knife

The other creation I would like to share with you today uses this adorable The Character Cafe image that I was lucky enough to win on Angie Cortes Designs Blog a short while back! Isn't he just the cutest little thing!!! His name is Christmas Scamp and it sure looks like he's in for trouble!!!

Here are the deets:
