Addicted to Stamps - For a Girl/Lady

Hello friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Addicted to Stamps Challenge Blog.
We have been on summer break and I'm excited to be back with the team!
Today, Marlies is our hostess and the theme she has chosen is:
 For a Girl / Lady

What woman (even little girls) love flowers so that's what came to mind for today's card.

I have used a couple of stamps that haven't seen love in a very long time!
First of all, my focus image is from a VERY OLD La Blanche stamp.   Honestly, I'm not even sure if these stamps are still available but I have a half dozen or so and they stamp so nicely, I really need to leave them out so I make more cards with them.

My sentiment stamp is also very old and is by Viva Las Vegas.  I think I picked it up at a stamp sale somewhere along the line.  I have some various off cuts in different shapes and was lucky enough to have my sentiment fit perfectly on this heart off cut.
My frame was created using the Paper Rose 'Stitched Rectangle Frames' die set and was cut from a deep purple card stock.   I used the larger die on my A6 size card.
Paper Rose - Dies - Stitched Rectangle Frames
My background paper is from the Mintay 6x6 paper pack called 'Dreamer'.
And coloring was done with Spectrum Noir markers.

I hope you'll come join in this FUN challenge
and there are prizes offered too!
Hope to see you there!!
As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!

Alphabet Challenge - M is for Masculine

Hello Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Alphabet Challenge Blog.
Today's letter is "M"
for
Masculine

I know a lot of people struggle with making masculine cards but for some reason I find it a fun challenge.  So many things I can use that I don't normally ... cars, tractors, sports, wildlife, hunting, fishing, golfing ... see what I mean ... the list can be as endless as the assortment of flower dies & stamps I have in my stash for ladies cards!  LOL

So today, I decided to play with a couple new Cottage Cuts I purchased during one of their fabulous sales a few months back.

The dies I referred to are:

 and

It just so happens I also purchased some new Mintay designer papers recently and this background panel comes from their 6x6 pad called Wilderness.

I've colored my bear using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and have popped him us with dimensional tape.  The ivy was created using the Elizabeth Crafty 'Ivy Vine' (#1297).

I needed to snip a couple of the leaves from the vine so they would fit properly on my card front so figured I may as well put them to use on the inside sentiment panel.

I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun and
I look forward to being inspired by your creation!!  See you there!

Challenges to share in:
Southern Girls Challenge - Anything Goes
Crafty Sentiments Challenge - Dies and/or Punches

Sisterhood of Crafters - Embossing

Hello dear friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over

Our hostess today is ME (teehee) ... and the theme I've chosen is:

EMBOSSING (wet or dry)

Here's what I have to share ...

I have reached back into my stash for an older (but beautiful) embossing folder by Anna Griffin (sold by Cuttlebug).  I love how deeply it embosses and with a little heavier card stock (such as this 110#) it's even more defined and beautiful!!

My balloons are from an Impression Obsession 'balloon' die set.
Impression Obsession - Dies - Balloons

and the Happy Birthday sentiment dies are from Tutti Designs.

This is my 'go to' die set for birthday cards.  Love that there are two different sizes to choose from ... depending on the space available.

I actually die cut my words twice and glued them together for added dimension.

I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun at The Sisterhood of Crafters!
My 'sistahs' have created some fabulous creations to help inspire you ...

Tutti Designs - A Winter Trio

Welcome back Friends!
Over on the Tutti Designs Blog,  we do our very best to showcase
the amazing dies available at the Tutti Design Store and inspire you with our designs.

Did you see the *NEW*  August Release?
Be sure to pop over and check 'em out!!
They are a big PLUS in getting a head start on holiday cards!

Today I've created a shadow-box effect card using the new 'Deer Forest Landscape' die.

TUTTI-581 Deer Forest Landscape

along with an older (but very much loved) Nesting Stitched Rectangle die set.

I began by die cutting a rectangle from blue card stock and 2 panels from white card stock.  Then I used a smaller die to cut out the middle of my white panels creating a 'window'.

After gluing just the lower edge of my landscape panel to the inside bottom of my first white frame panel, I added dimensional tape and adhered it over my blue panel.   (white ink was sponged around the top portion of my blue panel to create a cloudy sky).

I also used dimensional tape on my second frame panel before adhering it to the top of my first white panel ... creating my shadow box effect.

Now I needed a sentiment so I decided on the Tutti Designs 'Believe Word Set' which I die cut from the same blue paper and added sparkle to make it stand out.

Other products used on this creation are:
Martha Stewart Icicle Punch
Nuvo White Crystal Drops
Waterfall Stickles
3M Dimensional Tape

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store
and check out all of the fabulous dies available.

Double D - FEATURED

Hello Dear Friends!

It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Diane is hosting today and as you can see by my blog title ... the theme is:

FEATURED
(choose an item from the mood board and
make it the FEATURED item on your project)

Here is the fabulous mood board she has created to help inspire you . . .

I chose the rainbow colored butterflies in the upper left corner of the board.

I've created my rainbow panel using Tim Holtz Distress Inks onto
a white card stock panel.  Then die cut another white panel
Memory Box - Dies - Reverse Butterfly Collage
Quick, easy and I think beautiful!

A few drops of Nuvo Gloss White Crystal Drops for accent
and my card is ready to send.

Diane has this fabulous Frantic Stamper Star Quilt Square die up as the
prize to one lucky random winner.  Remember ... you gotta play to win!

So, come play along using our theme and YOU might be that random winner!!

Be sure to pop over to our Double D Challenge Blog and check out what the design team ladies have created ... they are amazingly talented and I'm sure you'll find more wonderful inspiration!

 Hope to see you there!

Artsystamper Time . . .

Hello dear friends!

It's time once again to share a project (or two) using beautiful digital images from the TheArtsystamperShop.  Bev has created some gorgeous new designs for September and I knew exactly what I wanted to create when I saw her beautiful Fruit Stand Paper pack.

I've created a gift set which includes a tissue box cover and a matching card.
(directions for my tissue box covers can be found in the Tutorials Tab beneath my header)

For this project, I have printed my design of choice onto (1) 8 1/2 x 11 sheet using 80# card stock and (4) 4 x 6 panels.  The larger sheet was used for the lid of my tissue box cover as well as the card front.  The 4x6 panels were used for the box sides.

Older Spellbinder oval dies were used for the opening and decorative oval on the lid.  Hand drawn fax stitching  & black Nuvo crystal drops was added accents.

This quick & easy card was created using images from the Fruit Stand stamp set ...

as well as a tag from the Fruit Stand Paper Pack including the Tall Tag set.

I've used Tutti Designs Scalloped Stitched Nesting Ovals for my sentiment panel.

You'll certainly want to check out the TheArtsystamperShop. and for inspiration, be sure to check out the Artsystamper Blog.  The design team ladies are amazing and are showcasing some amazing works of art ... be sure to pop over and see for yourself.
