Hello Dear Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Diane is hosting today and as you can see by my blog title ... the theme is:
FEATURED
(choose an item from the mood board and
make it the FEATURED item on your project)
Here is the fabulous mood board she has created to help inspire you . . .
I chose the rainbow colored butterflies in the upper left corner of the board.
I've created my rainbow panel using Tim Holtz Distress Inks onto
a white card stock panel. Then die cut another white panel
using the Memory Box Reverse Butterfly Collage.
Quick, easy and I think beautiful!
A few drops of Nuvo Gloss White Crystal Drops for accent
and my card is ready to send.
Diane has this fabulous Frantic Stamper Star Quilt Square die up as the
prize to one lucky random winner. Remember ... you gotta play to win!
So, come play along using our theme and YOU might be that random winner!!
Be
sure to pop over to our Double D Challenge Blog and check out what the design
team ladies have created ... they are amazingly talented and I'm sure
you'll find more wonderful inspiration!
I just love a good butterfly card and yours has several of the little creatures just fluttering by! So very colorful and just gorgeous my friend!
ReplyDeleteFabulous take on the 'featured' board!! Great idea to use this die (always been a favorite of mine) as it represents the mood board well...gosh we have the BEST design team don't we!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is quite the team that you have here. These was so much inspiration on this board, yet everyone did something different and there is a wonderful selection as examples. I am so glad that you did the butterflies and I love the rainbow gradient behind them. It really makes for a special card. Great job!

This is just lovely with those colorful butterflies shining right through the die cut! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning Darlene. What fabulous butterfly die and lovely vibrant colours.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, Dar. I love the butterflies. Sometimes I think I (perhaps I dare, even, we) have SO many stamps and craft supplies that we forget about some of them, and neglect to use them. I do love being inspired by the art of others in a way that encourages me to pull out my poor, neglected supplies. Thanks for all your fabulous inspiration. I always enjoy seeing your wonderful creations. Hope you're having a great week, and that all is well with you and yours.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Karen
Gorgeous card Darlene... What a beautiful mood board and my favorite quilt was the flowers and butterflies... A rainbow of color always makes me smile...
